Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Braves' Orlando Arcia: IL stint not ruled out
Arcia is still not eating solid food after having an abscessed tooth pulled, and Atlanta might wind up placing him on the injured list, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The shortstop is fighting an infection he developed before the tooth was extracted. "All he's getting in him right now, is kind of the [protein] shakes and soup and things like that," manager Brian Snitker said Thursday. "So we were hoping we could maybe get him over here today and move around a little bit. We'll get him out here [Friday]." Arcia hasn't played since June 30 and slashed just .155/.217/.238 through 92 plate appearances last month. While Atlanta remains optimistic he could return to the lineup in short order, per MLB.com his availability for this weekend's series against the Phillies is in doubt.

He added another single and a two-run double in his next two at-bats, giving the catcher his third multi-hit performance over his last four games. Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Another monster performance
Walker went 2-for-3 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Dodgers while also drawing two walks.
Walker was at it again Thursday, going back-to-back with Joc Pederson in the opening frame for the first baseman's first home run of the contest before smacking a two-run shot in his next at-bat. The 33-year-old has now clubbed two home runs in back-to-back games and has gone deep in three consecutive contests overall. Furthermore, Thursday marked his fourth straight game with multiple RBI and his fifth straight game with multiple hits. Over that latter stretch Walker's batting .650 (13-for-20) with five homers, 11 RBI and eight runs scored.

Landon Knack RP | LAD
Dodgers' Landon Knack: Allows three homers in loss
Knack (1-2) was tagged with the loss against Arizona on Thursday, allowing four runs on four hits and one walk over 4.1 innings while striking out six.
Knack appeared to be on the right track after striking out the first two batters to open the game. However, he then surrendered back-to-back home runs to put the Dodgers in an early hole, marking the first time this season in which he's allowed multiple long balls in a start. The right-hander also gave up a season-high four runs on the night and has now failed to make it through five innings in each of his last two outings. On a positive note, he's posted a 13:1 K:BB over that two-game stretch.

Zac Gallen SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Zac Gallen: Lasts four innings in no-decision
Gallen did not factor into the decision in a win over the Dodgers on Thursday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out four.
The Dodgers put Gallen to task early, drawing 85 pitches out of the right-hander over four innings, with all three runs coming against him in his final frame. It marked Gallen's shortest outing of the season outside of his injury-shortened appearance May 30 against the Mets, and he's now allowed three runs in three of his last four starts (excluding May 30). It was also only the third time this season in which Gallen issued three walks.

Jake Cave LF | COL
Rockies' Jake Cave: Smacks go-ahead home run
Cave went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Brewers.
Cave launched a 430-foot solo homer on the second pitch he saw in the bottom of the sixth to put Colorado on top 4-3. It was the outfielder's first home run of the campaign, and he's now hit safely in two of his last three games to open the month of July. Over that brief stretch he's batting .455 (5-for-11) with two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base.

Jalen Beeks RP | TEX
Rockies' Jalen Beeks: Records seventh save
Beeks picked up the save in a win over the Brewers on Thursday, hurling 1.1 scoreless innings while striking out one.
Beeks relieved Tyler Kinley with two outs and two on in the eighth and got Garrett Mitchell to go down on strikes to escape the jam. The lefty returned for the ninth and went 1-2-3 through the top of Milwaukee's lineup to secure his seventh save of the season and his first since May 31 against the Dodgers. Beeks has not allowed an earned run in any of his last three appearances while posting at least one strikeout in each of those outings.

Tobias Myers RP | NYM
Brewers' Tobias Myers: Takes third loss
Myers (5-3) took the loss against the Rockies on Thursday, allowing four runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings.
Myers allowed multiple baserunners in each of the first two frames, leading to three runs coming home early for Colorado. He then cruised through the next two innings before surrendering a solo shot to Jake Cave in the sixth, marking the second game in a row in which the 25-year-old has given up a home run. Myers also allowed a season-high eight hits on the night en route to being handed his first loss since May 4 against the Cubs. On a positive note, he's now gone at least six innings in five of his last six starts.

DL Hall RP | MIL
Brewers' DL Hall: Completes rehab, role still TBD
Hall (knee) made what is expected to be his final rehab start for Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
In his sixth and likely final appearance with Nashville since resuming a rehab assignment in mid-June, Hall worked three innings -- matching his total from his previous outing -- and allowed three unearned runs on three hits and three walks. While Hall still has a chance to make it as a starting pitcher, his usage on the farm suggests he won't work as a traditional starter upon his return this season. If he slots into a bulk-relief role, the lefty would have more fantasy appeal than he would if he were to be deployed as an opening pitcher in front of a bulk reliever.

Cal Quantrill RP | TEX
Rockies' Cal Quantrill: Command issues in no-decision
Quantrill did not factor into the decision in a win over the Brewers on Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out two.

Quantrill will look to earn his first win since June 11 when the Rockies travel to Cincinnati next week to take on the Reds.
