Wade went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Royals.

Wade took Brady Singer deep twice to register his first multi-homer effort of the season. The 30-year-old has been productive through 15 September contests, logging four multi-hit efforts, homering three times and driving in 10 runs. On the season, he is hitting .267 with eight long balls, 33 RBI, 44 runs scored and two steals across 378 plate appearances.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Royals.

Chapman celebrated being a new father by homering in the fourth and sixth innings. The third baseman has hit safely in 10 of 13 September contests with five long balls and two steals. On the season, he's batting .249 with 26 home runs, 75 RBI, 95 runs scored and 15 stolen bases across 621 plate appearances.

Senga (calf) threw one scoreless inning while striking out two batters in his rehab outing with Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Senga was slated to throw 35 pitches over one or two innings Saturday, but he had a long break following his one frame of work due to Syracuse scoring eight runs in the next half-inning. Barring any setbacks, the 31-year-old right-hander could come off the injured list and join the Mets' bullpen for the final games of the regular season.

Contreras was held out of Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks due to finger and hip injuries, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Contreras' injuries appear to be minor and he wanted to play Saturday, but the Brewers will rest the 26-year-old catcher for at least one contest. He could be back as soon as Sunday for the series finale, but with the Brewers scheduled for an off day Monday, he could be held out for additional rest until the start of the upcoming road series against the Pirates on Tuesday. Since Sept. 1, Contreras has slashed .286/.397/.500 with three home runs and 12 RBI across 69 plate appearances.

Mears (forearm) will throw a simulated game Monday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Mears has been on the 15-day injured list since Aug. 25 due to a right forearm strain. He's now poised to take the next step in his throwing program, and barring any setbacks, he could return to the Brewers' bullpen during the final week of the regular season. Over his 11 outings with the Brewers this season, Mears has a 6.75 ERA and 1.41 WHIP across 10.2 innings.

Smith isn't in the Dodgers' lineup for Saturday's game against Colorado.

Smith has gone 3-for-10 with a homer, two RBI and four runs scored over his last three games. He'll get a breather Saturday, allowing Hunter Feduccia to catch for Walker Buehler while batting ninth.

Beck isn't in Colorado's lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.

Beck struck out twice and was hit by a pitch during Friday's loss, and he'll take a day to regroup Saturday while Jake Cave takes over as Colorado's right fielder.

Doyle (knee) isn't in Colorado's lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Left knee soreness prevented Doyle from starting in Friday's series opener, and it's seemingly still enough of an issue to keep him from playing Saturday. Nolan Jones, Sam Hilliard and Jake Cave will form the Rockies' outfield while Doyle sits.

Goodman isn't in the Rockies' lineup Saturday against the Dodgers.

Goodman went 0-for-4 with an RBI and two strikeouts during Friday's series opener. He'll now get a chance to rest Saturday while Jacob Stallings starts behind the plate and bats ninth.

Higashioka isn't in the Padres' lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

After going 0-for-9 over his last four games, Higashioka will give way to Elias Diaz behind the plate Saturday.
