The Padres pulled Kim (shoulder) off his recovery program Saturday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Kim has been on the injured list since mid-August due to right shoulder inflammation. Despite spending more than a month on the IL, he's made little progress in his ability to throw the ball and will now shift his focus to getting ready for the start of the 2025 campaign. He'll close the book on 2024 with a .233/.330/.370 slash line alongside 47 RBI and 22 stolen bases across 121 games.

Doyle isn't in Colorado's lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Doyle will stay put in the Rockies' dugout to begin Saturday's contest after going 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base during Friday's loss. While he sits, Nolan Jones, Sam Hilliard and Jake Cave will start across the outfield.

Milwaukee will face a left-handed starter for the second straight game Saturday, so the left-handed bat of Bauers will stay put in the dugout for the second time in a row. Gary Sanchez will fill in as the Brewers' DH and bat sixth.

Turang isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.

The Brewers will match up against left-hander Jose Quintana, and the lefty-hitting Turang will take a seat for the team's penultimate regular-season game. Andruw Monasterio will replace him at second base and bat ninth.

Winker isn't in the Mets' lineup Saturday versus the Brewers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Winker will get a chance to clear his head Saturday after going 0-for-15 across his past seven games. His absence will move Francisco Lindor into the DH spot, opening up shortstop for Luisangel Acuna.

Taylor isn't in the Mets' lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

After going 0-for-4 against his former team Friday, Taylor will take a seat on the bench Saturday while Harrison Bader patrols center field, batting eighth.

Alvarez (back) isn't in the Mets' lineup Saturday against Milwaukee, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Alvarez had to make an early exit from Friday's contest due to back spasms, and while his back is reportedly feeling better, per DiComo, he's not quite ready to return to the starting lineup. Luis Torrens will catch for Jose Quintana and bat seventh.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Reds.

Swanson swiped a bag in the fifth frame and then doubled and scored the game's first run in the eighth. The shortstop is finishing the season strong, hitting safely in eight of his past 10 contests with three multi-hit efforts, five extra-base hits and two steals. On the season, he's batting .242 with 16 home runs, 66 RBI, 82 runs scored and a career-high 19 stolen bases across 593 plate appearances.
