The Marlins optioned Acosta to Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Acosta's option to Triple-A will act as a promotion of sorts, as he spent all of last season in Double-A as part of the Rangers organization. The 22-year-old went 3-for-11 with a home run in his first spring with the Marlins, and a lack of depth in the big-league infield keeps the door open for Acosta to debut in 2025.

The Marlins optioned Mazur to Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Upon joining the Marlins organization at last year's trade deadline, Mazur registered a 5.21 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 38 innings over eight starts at Jacksonville. He showed signs of improvement during Grapefruit League play, giving up one run in five frames while striking out three, but the Marlins will need to see more from him in the minors before giving him a spot in their big-league rotation.

Arias spent all of last year in Jacksonville, turning in a 3.04 ERA and 1.19 WHIP alongside a 75:27 K:BB over 68 innings. He was hit around quite a bit this spring, allowing nine earned runs over 3.1 frames, but he should still have a good chance to make his MLB debut in 2025 if he can return to form in Triple-A.

Adams was scratched from the lineup ahead of Saturday's Grapefruit League game versus St. Louis due to a right wrist injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Adams took a pitch off his wrist Friday, and although X-rays came back negative immediately afterward, the Nationals opted to give him Saturday to recover. He should be back in the lineup within a few days.

The Marlins optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday, Isaac Azout of FishOnFirst.com reports.

De Los Santos slashed .263/.308/.520 with 26 home runs and 83 RBI across 422 total plate appearances in Triple-A last year. That level of offensive production wasn't on display this spring, as he'll finish Grapefruit League play 2-for-11 across six games while striking out six times -- something that's long been a problem for the 21-year-old. If De Los Santos is able to get back on track quickly, he could get an opportunity in the majors as Miami's DH or at first base.

Conforto went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two total runs and three total RBI In a Cactus League win over Seattle on Friday.

Conforto opened the scoring Friday with a two-run double in the third inning, and he added a solo shot to right field in the fifth. The veteran outfielder has had a nice spring, putting together a .304/.407/.609 slash line with four doubles, a homer, four runs and three RBI. Conforto is slated to play regularly in left field this season after signing a one-year, $17 million contract in early December.

Profar was removed from Saturday's Grapefruit League game against Pittsburgh due to a jammed left wrist.

Initial X-rays on Profar's wrist came back negative, but he will go in for additional testing within the next few days. If the 32-year-old is forced to miss time, an opportunity would open up for Bryan De La Cruz to receive more reps in the outfield.

Alcantara said Saturday that the team hasn't told him he will be under any inning restrictions this season, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.

Alcantara's comments directly contradict a report from Jeff Passan of ESPN.com that states the 29-year-old righty will be on an innings limit early in the year. Amid all the uncertainty, the truth is more likely to come from the man himself, though he doesn't have full say over his deployment. It would make some sense for Alcantara to gradually build up his workload during the season after missing all of 2024 following Tommy John surgery.

Abrams went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets.

The shortstop took Paul Blackburn deep in the third inning, giving Abrams his first homer of the spring. He's batting just .217 (5-for-23) so far in Grapefruit League action, and while he has yet to strike out, Abrams also has yet to draw a walk -- something the Nats are looking for him to do more consistently in 2025 as the team prepares to make him the leadoff hitter. The 24-year-old's fantasy upside is undeniable, as he's racked up 38 homers and 78 steals in 289 games over the last two seasons, but his .245/.307/.422 slash line has plenty of room for improvement.

Williams gave up a run on three hits and a walk over four innings in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Mets. He struck out out.

The veteran right-hander looked sharp in his third appearance of the spring as he faced a New York lineup that included Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso, Mark Vientos and other likely Opening Day starters. Williams is locked into a rotation spot for the Nationals after a surprisingly effective 2024 campaign that saw him post a 2.03 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 59:18 K:BB over 66.2 regular-season innings.
