Pham is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.

Pham is off to a 1-for-8 start at the plate but has added two steals through two games. He'll take a seat in the dugout to begin Saturday's contest while Ji Hwan Bae starts in left field and bats leadoff.

Rodriguez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.

The righty figures to work mostly in low-leverage spots for Chicago, at least for the time being, giving him limited fantasy appeal.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's 8-1 loss to the Diamondbacks. He also stole a base.

Swanson is off to a decent start early in the season, as he now has a hit in three of Chicago's first four games, though he's still seeking his first multi-hit effort. The shortstop also recorded his first stolen base of 2025 on Friday. Swanson underwent core muscle surgery in October, but he returned in time for spring training and looks fully healthy to begin the year. He could be primed to once again reach double figures in steals and home runs, something he's done twice over the past three seasons.

Garcia is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies, Andrew Golden of The Washington Postreports.

The left-handed bat of Garcia will stay put in the Nats' dugout Saturday while southpaw Jesus Luzardo toes the slab for Philly. Amed Rosario will take over at the keystone and bat fifth.

Conine is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

Conine is 1-for-4 through the Marlins' first two contests and will now get a chance to rest Saturday with southpaw Bailey Falter starting on the bump for Pittsburgh. Dane Myers will occupy right field instead while batting fifth.

Pauley isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh.

The lefty-hitting Pauley will grab a seat on the bench Saturday while the Pirates send the lefty-throwing Bailey Falter to the hill. Jonah Bride will cover third base as a result, moving Kyle Stowers to the DH spot while Javier Sanoja gets the starting nod in left field.

Mervis isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Pirates.

The Marlins will load up their lineup with right-handed bats against southpaw Bailey Falter, so Mervis will begin Saturday's contest in the dugout. Eric Wagaman will fill in as Miami's first baseman and bat fourth.

Yastrzemski is out of the lineup Saturday against the Reds, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The Reds will send left-hander Nick Lodolo to the mound to start Saturday's contest, so the lefty-hitting Yastrzemski will begin the game on the bench. Luis Matos will fill the void in right field and bat sixth.
