Pages is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Atlanta.

After catching each of the first two games of the series, Pages will grab a seat for Wednesday's matinee. Yohel Pozo is behind the dish and batting seventh for the Cardinals in the series finale.

Donovan (rib) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Atlanta.

Donovan had a rib pop out of place Tuesday morning and will now sit out a second straight game. He is not expected to need a stint on the injured list and could be available to pinch hit Wednesday, per John Denton of MLB.com. Nolan Gorman will handle second base and bat third in Wednesday's series finale.

Atlanta transferred Alvarez (wrist) from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

Alvarez's IL stint is retroactive to March 24, so he won't be eligible to make his 2025 debut with Atlanta until at least May 23. Since the 22-year-old infielder was diagnosed with left wrist inflammation during spring training, Atlanta has provided scarce updates on where he stands in his recovery. Alvarez is currently conducting his rehab at Atlanta's spring facility in Florida, but it's unclear how close he might be to playing in simulated games and eventually heading out on a minor-league rehab assignment.

Atlanta optioned Wiles to Triple-A Gwinnett on Wednesday.

After getting his first MLB call-up Tuesday, Wiles looked like a strong candidate to serve as a bulk reliever in Atlanta's matchup with St. Louis. However, Atlanta ended up treating the game as more of a bullpen day, with opener Scott Blewett covering the first three innings and then being followed by four other relievers before Wiles entered the game in the top of the ninth with his team trailing 7-4. Wiles didn't do anything to distinguish himself in the low-leverage appearance, giving up three earned runs on four hits while striking out a batter in his lone inning. He'll now head back to Gwinnett, where he'll presumably slot back into the rotation.

Trevino is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Miami.

Trevino caught each of the first two games of the three-game set, so he's earned a breather for Wednesday's finale. Austin Wynns is behind the plate and batting ninth for the Reds.

Hays is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Miami.

Hays had started each of the first eight games upon his activation from the 10-day injured list, but he'll get a breather for Wednesday's matinee. Gavin Lux is in left field and Jeimer Candelario is at designated hitter for the Reds.

Verdugo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Cardinals.

Verdugo started each of the first five games upon being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett, but he'll get a breather for Wednesday's series finale. Eli White will cover left field and bat seventh for Atlanta.

Murphy is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cardinals.

Murphy caught both of the first two games of the series but will receive a day off for Wednesday's matinee. Drake Baldwin will start behind the plate and bat sixth for Atlanta.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Tuesday that Martinez is dealing with right shoulder fatigue, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.

Lovullo went on to say that it "could be" a dead arm phase for Martinez, who is "very, very close" to 100 percent. Martinez has not pitched since last Thursday, but Lovullo is hopeful that the reliever will be available out of the bullpen Wednesday against the Rays. If Martinez isn't ready to pitch Wednesday, Shelby Miller, Drey Jameson, Jalen Beeks and Ryan Thompson would represent the top candidate to see a save chance for the Diamondbacks.

Feltner allowed one run on three hits and a walk while striking out four over seven innings in Tuesday's loss to the Royals. He did not factor into the decision.

Feltner faced one over the minimum through five innings and was locked into a scoreless pitchers' duel with Kris Bubic. That ended in the bottom of the sixth when Drew Waters led off with a solo home run. Still, Feltner turned in his first start of seven innings since July 21 of last year and it was his second quality start in his last three outings. He'll aim to pick up his first win of the season in a home meeting against the Reds this weekend.
