Campusano went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored in Wednesday's 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Campusano has gone 5-for-11 over five games since he returned from a fractured toe, but his homer Wednesday was his first extra-base hit in that span. The catcher is now batting .317 with a 1.022 OPS, four homers, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored and seven doubles across 23 contests. He looks to be the Padres' primary backstop at this time, serving in the starting role over Rodolfo Duran while Freddy Fermin (head) is out.

King (6-7) allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings to earn the win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

King picked up his third quality start and second win in his last four outings. This was the eighth time in 19 starts that he's been able to limit an opponent to one run or fewer, and those performances account for five of his six wins on the year. He has a 3.41 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 92:43 K:BB through 108.1 innings.

Julien went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Julien has gone just 3-for-14 over five games in July. The second baseman is handling a strong-side platoon role, though he often gets replaced if a left-handed reliever enters the game. Julien is batting .228 with a .656 OPS, three homers, 20 RBI, 33 runs scored and four stolen bases over 241 plate appearances this season.

Karros went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers.

Karros has eight homers this season, including four over his last 12 games. In that span, he's also added 10 RBI and four doubles. The third baseman is batting .263 with an .802 OPS, 31 RBI, 46 runs scored, 18 doubles, two triples and three stolen bases over 89 contests while continuing to handle the starting job at the hot corner.

Hughes allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision versus the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Hughes had a bumpy first inning, when he allowed all three runs. He settled in well, ending up at 94 pitches (68 strikes) to earn a quality start. The 24-year-old right-hander has made two appearances in the majors so far and will likely continue to fill a rotation spot while Tomoyuki Sugano (back) is out. That said, Hughes carries some risk if he ends up sticking around, as he'll have Coors Field as a home park.

Scott struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Rockies.

Scott blew a save Monday, but he was able to bounce back in this appearance, retiring the side on just 11 pitches (seven strikes). He's now 13-for-15 in save chances while adding six holds this season. Scott had an eight-inning scoreless streak prior to Monday and has been consistent enough this season to assume that performance was just a blip. He's pitched to a 2.63 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 49:5 K:BB through 37.2 innings.

Sasaki allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rockies on Wednesday.

Sasaki allowed home runs to Kyle Karros and Edouard Julien in the second inning but was otherwise effective in a baseline quality start. Entering Wednesday, Sasaki had allowed 19 runs over 17 innings across his previous four starts, so this was a significant step in the right direction. The right-hander has pitched to a 5.33 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 80:33 K:BB through 81 innings over 16 starts this season. Homers have been a noticeable issue -- he's allowed 19 so far.

Harrison said after Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals that he has been dealing with soreness on the outside of his elbow over the past few weeks, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After quietly dealing with the injury for several outings, Harrison spoke up about his discomfort Wednesday, which explains why he was pulled after just four innings. It also indicates why his performance has begun to dip recently, as he's now turned in a 5.00 ERA across his last four starts. Despite the premature exit, the 24-year-old southpaw didn't seem to be very concerned about the issue, and he'll have plenty of time to recover before making his next start after the All-Star break.

Fermin went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-1 win versus the Brewers.

Fermin smashed a homer off Kyle Harrison in the fourth inning to give St. Louis the 3-0 lead. After a strong June during which he hit .321 with six RBIs and three stolen bases in 18 contests, the super-utility man has started the last seven games. However, it's worth noting that the Cardinals faced a left-handed starting pitcher in five of those contests, so Fermin should still be viewed as a short-side platoon player for now.

Burleson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 victory against the Brewers.

Burleson crushed a 443-foot, two-run shot over the right-field wall to extend St. Louis' lead to 5-0 in the sixth inning. Although he has struggled against left-handed pitching all season (.497 OPS), Burleson did most of his damage Wednesday against them, including the home run off Brewers reliever Jared Koenig. The 27-year-old Burleson now has a .277/.339/.474 slash line with 15 homers and 66 RBI through 90 games this year.
