Weathers (forearm) yielded two hits and no walks over five scoreless frames in his last rehab start with Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.

Weathers struck out three in the outing while averaging 97.8 mph and topping out at 99.2 mph with his four-seamer. The lefty has permitted only two runs with a 13:4 K:BB over 10.2 innings in his three rehab starts. Weathers appears ready to rejoin the Marlins' rotation, although with a pitch count of just 57 on Thursday, it's possible he'll need to get stretched out a bit more. If he does get activated before building up any further, he could get the start Tuesday at Wrigley Field.

Kemp is slashing .331/.423/.662 with 10 home runs, five steals and a 27.0 percent strikeout rate in 35 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Kemp has started 19 games at third base, seven games at first base and six games at second base while logging the second-highest wRC+ (184) in the International League. His .419 BABIP illustrates how fortunate Kemp has been in the early going, but he's nonetheless looking ready for his first taste of the majors if the Phillies deal with any injuries to their infield.

White went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's extra-innings win over the Reds.

The 30-year-old extended his current hit streak to six games with a bunt single in the fifth inning. Since moving into a regular starting role in late April, White is slashing an improbable .327/.352/.615 with nine extra-base hits (five doubles, two triples and two homers), two steals, nine RBI and 11 runs in 14 contests -- stunning production from a player that came into 2025 with a career .568 OPS and 31.7 percent strikeout rate in 448 big-league plate appearances since he made his debut with the Rangers in 2020.

Waldrep struck out 10 batters for Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over 5.1 innings.

The 23-year-old right-hander put together his longest, and best, outing of the season, tossing 95 pitches (56 strikes) as he fanned double-digit batters for the third time in his minor-league career. Waldrep is still searching for some consistency, and through seven starts for Gwinnett in 2025 he's stumbled to a 6.35 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 31:20 K:BB in 28.1 innings. The 2023 first-round pick will need to string together a few more strong performances like this before he'll be an option to bolster Atlanta's rotation.

Estrada (wrist) has resumed fielding drills and running the bases this week, MLB.com reports.

Estrada resumed swinging the bat last weekend as he works toward his Rockies debut after fracturing his wrist late in spring training. He's likely nearing a rehab assignment and should have the chance to be activated by late May or early June.

Burns allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and one walk while striking out eight over five innings for Double-A Chattanooga on Thursday.

The Wake Forest product allowed a home run to the unheralded Jaylen Palmer but otherwise overmatched Knoxville batters. Burnes matched a professional high of eight strikeouts and retired six of the last seven batters he faced. In three starts since a promotion from High-A Dayton, the right-hander has a 1.93 ERA and 21:2 K:BB across 14 innings for the Lookouts.

Schunk (groin) has resumed baseball activity, MLB.com reports.

Schunk has been sidelined since April 26. He has resumed fielding and batting practice as well as baserunning drills, but a timeline for his return is still unclear.

Tovar (hip) has resumed batting and fielding practice as well as running the bases, MLB.com reports.

Tovar has been sidelined since April 16 due to a hip injury that has been nagging him for much of the season. He has now cleared a significant milestone in his recovery, and the shortstop will rehab with Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, per Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com.

The Padres optioned Gonzalez to Triple-A El Paso on Thursday.

Gonzalez produced just a .483 OPS in 21 games with the Padres and had been losing playing time lately. The team will announce a corresponding move prior to Friday's game in Colorado.

Vodnik (shoulder) is throwing from 90 feet, MLB.com reports.

Vodnik resumed throwing in late April, but he has progressed slowly since. He was previously expected to return at some point in early May, but his timeline is now unclear.
