Harrison tossed two scoreless innings in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Twins, allowing three walks (one intentional) while striking out three.

Harrison made his second appearance since being recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday and has yet to allow a run over three innings of relief. The 23-year-old southpaw is expected to remain in the bullpen for now, though he could eventually make a case to join the starting rotation after missing out on an Opening Day spot. Harrison recorded a 3.46 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and a 38:8 K:BB across 26 innings in six starts with Sacramento.

Abrams went 3-for-4 with a double in Friday's loss to the Cardinals.

It's the second straight three-hit performance from the shortstop, who has been on fire the last few weeks. Over the last 14 games. Abrams is slashing .368/.446/.509 with four steals, seven RBI and 10 runs, and he's hitting the ball with considerably more authority this season -- after posting an average exit velocity in the 16th percentile (87.4 mph) in 2023 and the 29th percentile (88.2 mph) in 2024, the 24-year-old is sitting in the 72nd percentile (91.1 mph) so far in 2025.

Soto went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Friday's win over the Cubs.

The $765 million man had something of a quiet start to his tenure with the Mets, but Soto is catching fire in May. Five of his eight homers on the season have come in eight games this month, including a solo shot off Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning Friday, and over that stretch Soto is batting .367 (11-for-30) with seven RBI, nine runs and a 7:5 BB:K.

Baty went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Cubs.

Getting his second straight start at third base, his first action since rejoining the big-league roster at the beginning of the week, Baty took Jameson Taillon deep in the second inning, one of four homers the Mets hit off the right-hander. With Mark Vientos struggling, the door could be opening for Baty to push for the starting job at the hot corner. The 25-year-old will need to show more consistency himself, however -- through 65 MLB plate appearances this year he's slashing just .210/.246/.387 with two homers and a 30.8 percent strikeout rate.

McLean threw seven scoreless innings for Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, giving up seven hits without walking a batter and striking out seven.

Making his first start for Syracuse since a promotion from Double-A, McLean put together his best performance of the season, firing 57 of 78 pitches for strikes and only allowing one runner to even get past second base. The 23-year-old right-hander isn't yet on the 40-man roster, but if he continues to deliver these kinds of results, a big-league debut in 2025 can't be ruled out. Over six starts between Double-A and Triple-A, McLean has a 1.08 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB through 33.1 innings, and he has yet to serve up a homer.

Edwards went 1-for-3 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's loss to the White Sox.

The shortstop is still struggling to regain his 2024 form at the plate, but Edwards is taking advantage when he does get on base. He's up to 10 steals in 12 attempts on the season, and four of those pilfers have come in the last six games despite the fact that he's batting just .190 (4-for-21) during that stretch, although he's also drawn six free passes.

Hicks went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's loss to the White Sox.

Starting at DH and batting seventh, Hicks took Caleb Freeman deep in the seventh inning, briefly tying the game at 2-2 before Max Meyer faded in the bottom of the frame. Hicks is still seeing semi-regular playing time even with Agustin Ramirez in the majors and Nick Fortes back from the IL, and the Rule 5 pick has gone yard in back-to-back starts while starting in three of the first seven contests in May. On the season, Hicks is slashing .254/.338/.433 with three homers, eight runs and 18 RBI in 79 plate appearances.

Martinez (1-4) was saddled with the loss after giving up three earned runs on 10 hits while striking out five batters in six innings Friday against the Astros. He did not issue a walk.

It's somewhat impressive that Martinez was able to deliver a quality start despite allowing 10 base hits, but a lack of run support from the Reds' bats led to the 34-year-old taking his fourth loss in eight starts this year. The good news is that he'll have a strong chance to bounce back in his next start while facing a White Sox team that ranks last in the majors with a .614 OPS.

Sanchez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases in Friday's loss to the White Sox.

The 27-year-old outfielder didn't make his season debut until April 15 due to an oblique strain, but Sanchez is looking fully healthy now. He's racked up multiple hits in three of the last four games, and three of his four steals on the year have come in those contests. Sanchez stole a career-high 16 bags on 18 attempts in 2024, and it looks like that success on the basepaths was no fluke. Despite the recent spark, he's slashing just .235/.321/.309 through 78 plate appearances with one homer, four runs and seven RBI.

White struck out eight and gave up two hits and two walks over five scoreless innings Friday for High-A Beloit.

The 20-year-old southpaw is the Marlins' top pitching prospect, and he's having little trouble getting whiffs against Midwest League hitters. White has fanned at least seven batters in three straight starts, and while he's also issued multiple walks in all six of his outings so far in 2025, he has yet to serve up a homer. The 35th overall pick in the 2023 First-year Player Draft has a 3.24 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 37:16 K:BB through 25 innings, and a promotion to Double-A could be in the cards this summer if he can tighten up his control just a touch.
