The Brewers optioned Henderson to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.

Henderson has gotten off to a brilliant start to his MLB career, going 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 21 innings across his first four starts. However, he just pitched Sunday, and the Brewers have decided they are in immediate need of length in the bullpen heading into this week's series against the Red Sox. DL Hall (lat) was activated from the 60-day injured list to take Henderson's spot on the active roster.

White will work on the short side of a platoon in left field with Alex Verdugo now that Ronald Acuna is back in the lineup, David O'Brien of the Athletic reports.

White's actually had slightly better numbers against right-handed pitching so far this season, posting an .814 OPS in 87 plate appearances in that split versus Verdugo's .760 OPS in 100 PAs, but manager Brian Snitker will go with a conventional platoon for now between the two. How the duo performs will likely determine how long the arrangement lasts, and White wasn't doing himself any favors by batting .225 (9-for-40) with a 1:10 BB:K in his last 10 games before Acuna's activation from the IL on Friday.

Verdugo will handle the strong side of a platoon in left field with Eli White now that Ronald Acuna is back in the lineup, David O'Brien of the Athletic reports.

Albies went 2-for-2 with a walk, two doubles, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Padres.

The second baseman delivered multiple extra-base hits in a contest for the first time this season as he extended his hitting streak to 11 games. Albies is slashing .366/.435/.463 during his surge with four doubles, four RBI and six runs, but he remains mired in a 20-game homer drought. He's had a rough start to the season overall, but the return of Ronald Acuna might help light a fire under Albies and Atlanta's other slumbering hitters.

Ramos is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Ramos has been on a tear since late April, slashing .352/.419/.593 with six homers and a steal over his last 25 games, but he will get what looks like a routine breather with the Giants playing early on Memorial Day. Luis Matos steps in as the left fielder, batting ninth against right-hander Keider Montero.

Hoeing (shoulder) struck out two batters and allowed one hit over a scoreless inning in his latest rehab appearance Friday with Double-A San Antonio.

Hoeing began his rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and was lit up for six runs (five earned) over 1.1 innings, but he's performed much better since moving up to Double-A last week. He's now tossed a pair of scoreless innings in both of his appearances for San Antonio, striking out three batters and walking none between those outings. Hoeing may need to build up to two innings and pitch on consecutive days during his rehab assignment before the Padres feel ready to bring him back from the 60-day injured list. The right-hander has been on the shelf all season due to a shoulder strain.

Waldron (oblique) allowed two earned runs on five hits and one walk while striking out four batters across 4.1 innings in his rehab start Sunday with Double-A San Antonio.

Waldron has been on the shelf all season after straining his left oblique while warming up in the bullpen during a Cactus League game in mid-March. He's been steadily building up since beginning his rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on May 15, as he's made his subsequent two starts at San Antonio while tossing two and 4.1 innings. During Sunday's outing, Waldron tossed 61 pitches (37 strikes), but the Padres will likely want to see him move his pitch count up to around 75 during his rehab assignment before bringing him back from the injured list. San Diego could have an opening in the rotation for Waldron once he's activated, as he appears on pace to beat Yu Darvish (elbow) and Michael King (shoulder) back from the IL.

Trevino went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Cubs.

Trevino had another productive day at the plate, singling in a run in the first inning and doubling home a run in the fifth that gave the Reds an 8-3 lead at the time. Unfortunately for Cincinnati, the bullpen gave it all back and then some. Trevino is enjoying a career season with a line of .298/.333/.500 through 36 games. He remains the backup to Tyler Stephenson, but the Reds like to use the starter at DH as well, which gets Trevino in the lineup three to four times per week.

McLain went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Cubs.

McLain's hit safely in three straight games and stole his 11th base of the season, showing some value above a line of .184/.287/.319. His season-opening slump prompted manager Terry Francona to drop him from second in the batting order to the lower third, from where McLain's hit .238 over the last 12 games. A .217 expected batting average indicates McLain's experienced bad luck along the way.

Smith went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.

Smith gave Arizona a 3-2 lead in the sixth inning when he singled in a run. The RBI was his third over the last 27 games, a stretch during which Smith has just three extra-base hits, batted .227 (17-for-75) and struck out at a 30.7 percent clip. As the strongside of a platoon at DH, he has a respectable .301 batting average and an .892 OPS, but there's very little heft to it. Smith, who spent a good portion of the season batting third, has just 12 RBI and can thank an outrageous BABIP (.439) for what Statcast estimates to be a .229 expected batting average.
