Marte (oblique) is targeting June 20 to begin a rehab assignment but needs to get an MRI before being cleared, MLB.com reports.

Marte recently began hitting soft tosses in the batting cage at the team's complex in Goodyear (Ariz.), which signaled a rehab assignment was imminent. He's been sidelined on the 10-day injured list since early May.

Spiers (shoulder) threw a second bullpen session Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Spiers has been sidelined with a right shoulder impingement since mid-April and began a throwing program three weeks ago. The next step should be a rehab assignment, although the Reds haven't indicated when that may begin.

Lowder (forearm/oblique) reported to the Reds' complex in Goodyear (Ariz.) on Wednesday to begin a rehab program, MLB.com reports.

Lowder, who was rehabbing a forearm injury, had a rehab assignment paused when he incurred an oblique injury. The focus of his rehab is now on the oblique.

Hampson started in left field and went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's 11-2 loss to the Guardians.

With left-hander Logan Allen on the bump for Cleveland, manager Terry Francona replaced his lefty-batting outfielders, including Hampson in left field for Will Benson. The news that Austin Hays (foot) has stalled in his recovery opens the door for continued outfield opportunities for Hampson against southpaws. Francona typically sits Benson and Jake Fraley when the Reds face southpaws.

Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-2 win over Seattle.

Smith finished off the Diamondbacks' five-run sixth inning with his fifth homer of the season. It was the first round-tripper in 40 games (since April 22) for Smith, who incidentally is slashing .213/.336/.296 over 128 plate appearances since his last home run. He still maintains a .277 batting average thanks to a .402 BABIP, but Statcast pegs his expected batting average to be .225.

Conforto went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-2 win over San Diego.

Conforto got the Dodgers on the board in the fifth inning, smacking an opposite-field homer off Randy Vasquez to tie the game 1-1. After a rough start to the season, Conforto has picked things up a bit at the plate recently, logging a hit in five of his last six games. The outfielder is still slashing just .175/.314/.286 through 229 plate appearances this year with four homers, 12 RBI and 25 runs scored.

Hernandez went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 5-2 victory over the Padres.

Hernandez put the Dodgers ahead for good Wednesday, launching a 420-foot blast off Jeremiah Estrada in the sixth inning. It's the first home run since May 21 for Hernandez -- the veteran outfielder had gone just 13-for-76 (.171) with a .496 OPS in his previous 20 games following a stint on the IL. Overall, Hernandez is slashing .261/.288/.488 with 11 homers, 47 RBI, 33 runs scored and five stolen bases across 222 plate appearances this year.

Kinley (0-3) allowed four earned runs on four hits and one walk while recording just one out to take the loss Wednesday against the Giants.

Kinley entered the game in the eighth inning with a three-run lead, but he allowed five of the six batters he faced to reach base. The big blow came from Mike Yastrzemski, who delivered a two-run double to tie the game at 6-6. Kinley has now allowed multiple earned runs in three of his last four outings, though Zach Agnos has also struggled mightily in high-leverage situations of late. That could open the door for Seth Halvorsen to get the next few save chances.

Agnos allowed three earned runs on one hit and two walks over one inning Wednesday against the Giants.

Agnos relieved Tyler Kinley with one out in the eighth inning after the latter blew a three-run lead. Agnos surrendered a run on a sacrifice bunt but didn't allow any additional baserunners in the frame. However, he came back out for the ninth inning and allowed three of the first four batters he faced to reach base before being pulled. Agnos has been sharing save opportunities with Seth Halvorsen for the last several weeks but has now allowed 10 earned runs across his last 3.1 innings (four appearances), so the latter could be in line for the next few chances.

Goodman went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two runs and two RBI in a loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Goodman accounted for three of Colorado's four extra-base hits, including a run-scoring double in the third inning and a solo homer in the ninth. The backstop extended his hitting streak to eight games, a stretch during which he's slashing .429/.444/1.029 with eight RBI and eight runs. Over that span, a remarkable 11 of Goodman's 15 hits have gone for extra-bases; he has four homers, five doubles and two triples during the hot stretch. With an .845 OPS, 11 long balls and 39 RBI on the campaign, Goodman has quickly ascended to the ranks of baseball's best offensive catchers.
