Kinley (0-3) allowed four earned runs on four hits and one walk while recording just one out to take the loss Wednesday against the Giants.

Kinley entered the game in the eighth inning with a three-run lead, but he allowed five of the six batters he faced to reach base. The big blow came from Mike Yastrzemski, who delivered a two-run double to tie the game at 6-6. Kinley has now allowed multiple earned runs in three of his last four outings, though Zach Agnos has also struggled mightily in high-leverage situations of late. That could open the door for Seth Halvorsen to get the next few save chances.

Agnos allowed three earned runs on one hit and two walks over one inning Wednesday against the Giants.

Agnos relieved Tyler Kinley with one out in the eighth inning after the latter blew a three-run lead. Agnos surrendered a run on a sacrifice bunt but didn't allow any additional baserunners in the frame. However, he came back out for the ninth inning and allowed three of the first four batters he faced to reach base before being pulled. Agnos has been sharing save opportunities with Seth Halvorsen for the last several weeks but has now allowed 10 earned runs across his last 3.1 innings (four appearances), so the latter could be in line for the next few chances.

Goodman went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two runs and two RBI in a loss to the Giants on Wednesday.

Goodman accounted for three of Colorado's four extra-base hits, including a run-scoring double in the third inning and a solo homer in the ninth. The backstop extended his hitting streak to eight games, a stretch during which he's slashing .429/.444/1.029 with eight RBI and eight runs. Over that span, a remarkable 11 of Goodman's 15 hits have gone for extra-bases; he has four homers, five doubles and two triples during the hot stretch. With an .845 OPS, 11 long balls and 39 RBI on the campaign, Goodman has quickly ascended to the ranks of baseball's best offensive catchers.

Adames went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three total runs and three total RBI in a 10-7 win against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Adames gave San Francisco an early lead with a two-run blast in the first inning. He added a sacrifice fly in the third to tie his single-game season-high mark with three RBI. Adames is taking advantage of the rarified Colorado air to snap out of a lengthy slump -- he's gone 4-for-7 with two homers and five RBI during the first two contests of the series. Prior to that, Adames had been mired in an 0-for-18, six-game downturn.

Freeland finished with a no-decision Wednesday against San Francisco, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five batters over six innings.

Freeland pitched pretty well and held a three-run lead at the time of his departure. However, Colorado's bullpen imploded, allowing the Giants to score seven times over the final two frames, halting the southpaw's bid at a second straight victory. Freeland did, however, manage to notch a third straight quality start, and he's pitched to a 2.95 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB across 18.1 innings during that stretch. He'll try to extend the run of quality starts in his next outing, which is expected to come on the road in Washington.

Ray allowed four runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out five batters over four innings in a no-decision against Colorado on Wednesday.

Ray entered Wednesday having recorded a quality start in each of his previous eight outings, but that streak came to an end in the thin air of Colorado. All four runs the Rockies scored against the southpaw came in the third inning, though an error resulted in only two of the runs being earned. Ray completed the fourth frame without further damage, but he ended that inning at 93 pitches and didn't come out for the fifth. It wasn't all bad for the veteran hurler, as he racked up 15 whiffs and extended his streak of striking out at least five batters to nine contests. Ray is tied for 11th in the league with 92 punchouts this season, and he's added a strong 2.55 ERA and 1.12 WHIP across 81.1 innings.

Peterson (5-2) tallied the win Wednesday against the Nationals after giving up six hits and no walks in nine scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Peterson was brilliant in his first career shutout, keeping Washington off balance with a staggering 13 groundouts while also producing his first scoreless start of the season altogether. It was also just the fourth time this year that the 29-year-old left-hander didn't lend a free pass, and he's now hurled at least six frames in six of his last seven outings. Peterson sports a 2.49 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 71:25 K:BB across 79.2 innings, and he's scheduled to toe the slab in a tough road matchup against Atlanta next week.

Irvin (5-3) was charged with the loss Wednesday against the Mets after giving up four runs on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out four.

Irvin matched his season high in walks, and he served up multiple home runs for the fourth time this year. However, the right-hander was still able to throw at least five innings in his 14th consecutive start to begin the campaign. Irvin has an ordinary 4.21 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 54:25 K:BB over 83.1 innings, but he's slated for a favorable home matchup next week versus a Rockies team that carries a .590 OPS on the road since the start of May.

Wood went 2-for-4 in Wednesday's 5-0 loss to the Mets.

Wood turned in his first multi-hit game of the month, as he's begun to cool down since the start of June. The 22-year-old outfielder is hitting just .167 across his last 30 at-bats (nine games) with a lone extra-base hit and RBI. Wood entered Wednesday with an incredible 58.1 percent hard-hit rate for the year, so the slugging prowess he displayed earlier in the season should re-emerge at some point.

Nimmo went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs, an additional run scored and a walk in Wednesday's 5-0 win over Washington.

Nimmo enjoyed his second multi-homer effort of the season, and he's now put together a modest four-game hitting streak. The veteran outfielder had a sluggish start to the campaign with a .673 OPS at the end of April, but he's heating up to the tune of a .310/.385/.569 slash line, four homers, three doubles, nine RBI and three stolen bases over his last 65 plate appearances. During this stretch, Nimmo has posted at least one hit in 13 of his 15 outings.
