Justin Turner DH | CHC
Cubs' Justin Turner: Enters lineup Monday
Turner is starting at first base and batting eighth in Monday's game against the Cardinals.
With St. Louis starting lefty Matthew Liberatore, regular first baseman Michael Busch will get a day off, allowing Turner to enter the lineup. The veteran is just 3-for-17 this month and is only batting .204 with a .551 OPS overall, so his fantasy appeal has been limited so far in 2025.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Cubs' Dansby Swanson: Returning to lineup in four spot
Swanson is starting at shortstop and batting fourth in Monday's game against the Cardinals.
After getting his first day off of the season Sunday, Swanson will return to the lineup Monday in St. Louis, and he's in a prime position to produce as the team's cleanup hitter against lefty starter Matthew Liberatore. Over the past three years, Swanson's OPS is 107 points higher when facing southpaws as opposed to righties.

Michael McGreevy SP | STL
Cardinals' Michael McGreevy: Will start Tuesday
Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said that McGreevy will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis to start Tuesday against the Cubs at Busch Stadium, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
McGreevy will pick up his third start of the season with the Cardinals and his second in less than a week after he most recently pitched last Thursday, when he took a no-decision in the second game of a doubleheader against the White Sox after allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out five over five innings. Because he was designated as the 27th man for the twin bill before being optioned to Triple-A on Friday, McGreevy will be eligible to rejoin the Cardinals early without having to wait 15 days. The Cardinals aren't expected to have an opening in the rotation for McGreevy beyond Tuesday, so he could be sent back to Memphis again following the start.

Austin Hays LF | CHW
Reds' Austin Hays: Could return Friday
Hays (foot) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Chattanooga on Tuesday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Hays will serve as Chattanooga's designated hitter Tuesday before picking up a start in the outfield Wednesday. He will be re-evaluated after that, potentially setting Hays up to be activated from the 10-day injured list Friday if all goes well. The veteran outfielder has been sidelined for the entirety of June with a bone bruise in his left foot.

Carlos Rodriguez RP | MIL
Brewers' Carlos Rodriguez: Diagnosed with forearm strain
Rodriguez has been diagnosed with a flexor strain in his right arm but has resumed throwing in Arizona, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Rodriguez was removed from his start with Triple-A Nashville in late May after experiencing discomfort in his right arm. The good news for the 23-year-old is that he has been cleared to resume throwing, which indicates that the injury is not severe enough to result in a lengthy absence on the IL. Rodriguez is 3-2 across 11 games (10 starts) in Triple-A this season with a 2.64 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 51:18 K:BB across 47.2 innings.

Brandon Woodruff SP | MIL
Brewers' Brandon Woodruff: Inching closer to 2025 debut
Woodruff (elbow/ankle/shoulder) completed a 60-pitch sim game Monday and will go on a rehab assignment later this week, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Woodruff is in the final stages of his recovery from shoulder surgery in October of 2023, but he has suffered setbacks with ankle tendinitis and a right elbow contusion, both of which interrupted his rehab assignment. The aim is for Woodruff to toss about 80 pitches in his next rehab outing, and if all goes well, the 32-year-old could be activated off the 60-day IL and be inserted back into the Brewers' rotation prior to the All-Star break.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Sitting in second straight game
Frazier is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.
Frazier has served as a strong-side platoon player in left field for the past two weeks, but after posting a .513 OPS during that stretch, he could be in danger of moving into a utility role. He'll be on the bench for a second straight matchup with a right-handed pitcher (Chad Patrick), affording Tommy Pham another start in left field after he went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Jordan Walker RF | STL
Cardinals' Jordan Walker: Out of lineup versus right-hander
Walker is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.
It's righty Ben Brown on the hill for the Cubs, marking the third time in six games versus right-handers since Walker returned from the injured list that he's been out of the lineup. He was also absent from the lineup once over that span against a left-handed opener. Alec Burleson is in right field and Nolan Gorman is at designated hitter for the Cardinals.
