Max Lazar RP | PHI
Phillies' Max Lazar: Optioned to Triple-A
Lazar was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley following Sunday night's 6-2 win over the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Lazar will return to the Triple-A level after he surrendered two runs on three hits while striking out four batters over four innings in three appearances with the Phillies following his call-up Tuesday. The right-hander wasn't perfect, but he definitely showed enough in his short stint with the big-league club to potentially earn another elevation down the road this season.

Bryse Wilson RP | PHI
Phillies' Bryse Wilson: Designated for assignment
Wilson was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Sunday night, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Wilson tossed two scoreless innings, allowing one hit and a walk, in his only appearance with Philadelphia after having his contract selected from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday. He will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, he'll either report to Triple-A or elect free agency.

Reds' Julian Garcia: Set to be called up Monday
Garcia is expected to be called up from Triple-A Louisville on Monday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

The 31-year-old has posted a 3.03 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 54 strikeouts over 35.2 innings in 21 appearances, including two starts, with Louisville this season. Garcia will provide Cincinnati with another right-handed option out of the bullpen versus Milwaukee.

Riley Martin P | CHC
Cubs' Riley Martin: Throwing again
The Cubs announced June 10 that Martin (elbow) has resumed playing catch, MLB.com reports.
Back on April 27, Martin was diagnosed with a left elbow flexor strain, an injury that was expected to keep him on the shelf for about eight weeks. Though he was recently able to start throwing again, Martin has yet to advance to facing hitters and looks as though he'll wind up missing more time than originally anticipated. Martin had gotten off to a strong start to the season prior to being shelved, posting a 2.16 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 10:2 K:BB in 8.1 innings over eight appearances.

Dodgers' Christian Zazueta: Joining Double-A
Zazueta was promoted to Double-A Tulsa on Sunday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.
Zazueta will move up a level in the Dodgers' minor-league farm system after producing a 3.88 ERA and 0.98 WHIP with 66 punchouts over 48.2 innings in 11 appearances, including 10 starts, with High-A Great Lakes so far this season. The 21-year-old will look to continue his early-season success against some tougher competition at the Double-A level.

C.J. Abrams SS | WAS
Nationals' CJ Abrams: Homers in third consecutive game
Abrams went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Rays.
After doubling and coming around to score in the fourth inning, Abrams took Nick Martinez deep in his next plate appearance for his 17th homer of the season. The shortstop extended his home-run streak to three consecutive games. While Abrams is batting just .261 in June, he is slashing .286/.367/.534 with 15 doubles, two triples, 17 homers, 57 RBI, 51 runs scored and 12 stolen bases across 76 games this season.

Edward Cabrera SP | CHC
Cubs' Edward Cabrera: Cleared to start Tuesday
Cabrera (hand) is listed as the Cubs' probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Mets at Citi Field.
Cabrera's inclusion on the Cubs' pitching schedule for their four-game series in New York indicates that he made it through his bullpen session over the weekend without issue. The 28-year-old was lifted in the fifth inning of his latest start Tuesday versus the Rockies due to right hand cramping, but he was able to make a swift recovery.

Matthew Boyd SP | CHC
Cubs' Matthew Boyd: Sharp in four-inning rehab start
Boyd (shoulder/knee) struck out seven and allowed two hits and no walks over four scoreless innings Saturday in a rehab start with High-A South Bend
Boyd covered 59 pitches (40 strikes) in the appearance, his first in the minors in two weeks after he experienced renewed soreness in his left shoulder coming out of a June 6 start with Triple-A Iowa. The southpaw was initially placed on the 15-day injured list May 6 after requiring a meniscectomy for his left knee, but he's since healed up from that procedure and appears to be bouncing back well from the minor setback with his shoulder. Per MLB.com, Boyd will rejoin the Cubs and will throw a bullpen session in New York on Monday, and if all goes well, he could be reinstated from the IL to make his next start with the big club Thursday against the Mets or during its weekend series in Milwaukee.

Andrew Alvarez RP | WAS
Nationals' Andrew Alvarez: Fans six in no-decision
Alvarez did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Rays, allowing one run on four hits while striking out six over four innings.
Alvarez turned in another effective start, with the lone run against him coming in the third inning when Tampa Bay strung together consecutive doubles. The left-hander set a season high with his six punchouts. After tossing 90 pitches in his June 9 start, Alvarez has been limited to under 70 in each of his last two starts. He has yet to complete five innings in any outing, limiting his chances to qualify for wins. Alvarez now owns a 3.34 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB across 32.1 innings and is lined up to face Baltimore on the road in his next start.

Kyle Stowers LF | MIA
Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Launches eighth homer
Stowers went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Giants.
Stowers opened the scoring in the second inning, taking Logan Webb deep for a solo shot that proved to be a key run in Miami's one-run victory. The homer was his eighth of the season and continued a recent power surge, as he has now gone deep three times in his last four games. The outfielder is batting .230 with five homers and 17 RBI across 17 June contests. On the season, Stowers is slashing .223/.319/.416 with 12 doubles, one triple, 28 RBI, 25 runs scored and one stolen base through 54 games.
