Kyle Tucker RF | LAD
Cubs' Kyle Tucker: Goes deep in win Saturday
Tucker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.
After Michael Busch started the game for Chicago with his 20th home run of the season, Tucker went deep a batter later, giving him 18 long balls. The talented outfielder had been in a bit of a power slump, as this was his first home run since June 28, and he's batted just .222 with a .632 OPS in 15 games following that last homer. Despite the dip in production, Tucker is still batting .281 overall with a robust .889 OPS, and he's also swiped 22 bases to give him well-rounded fantasy value.

Michael Busch 1B | CHC
Cubs' Michael Busch: Slugs 20th home run
Busch went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Red Sox.
Busch batted leadoff and started the game off with his 20th home run of the season. The slugging first baseman is up to 60 RBI as well, already putting him within striking distance of the 21 home runs and 65 RBI he recorded in 2024, which was his first year with the Cubs. Busch has also increased his OPS from .775 last season to .926 in 2025, and he's been a strong fantasy contributor across the board.

Blaze Alexander 3B | BAL
Diamondbacks' Blaze Alexander: Scores three times in win
Alexander went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Cardinals.
Alexander singled and scored in his first two plate appearances and then crossed the plate again after reaching on an error. He's hit safely in four straight contests and has an RBI in three consecutive games. Alexander's started both games following the All-Star break, filling in at second base for Ketel Marte, who was on the restricted list while dealing with a personal issue at home. Marte is expected to return Sunday, which likely means Alexander will get bumped to the bench.

Corbin Carroll RF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Legs out three XBH
Carroll went 3-for-5 with two triples, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over St. Louis.
Carroll got the Diamondbacks off to a quick start with a leadoff triple and scored the first of their 10 runs. The two triples increased his season total to a league-leading 12, and the three extra-base hits bumped his slugging percentage to .559 (eighth in MLB).

Tanner Banks RP | PHI
Phillies' Tanner Banks: Records third hold Saturday
Banks threw a clean eighth inning in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Angels. He struck out one.
Banks logged his third hold of the season, and it was a nice recovery after he yielded three runs over his prior two outings. With fellow southpaw Matt Strahm having moved into the closing mix for the Phillies, Banks should see a larger share of high-leverage work until Jose Alvarado (suspension) returns. Banks has a reliable 3.56 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 43:6 K:BB over 43 innings this year.

Miguel Rojas 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Connects for sixth homer
Rojas went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Brewers.
Rojas got a rare start versus a right-handed pitcher (Freddy Peralta) as the Dodgers gave the slumping Mookie Betts the day off. Rojas has primarily served as a short-side platoon option at third base, though he can cover second base and shortstop in a pinch. The infielder is up to six homers, 14 RBI, 18 runs scored, one stolen base and a .261/.308/.440 slash line through 144 plate appearances this season.

Tommy Edman LF | LAD
Dodgers' Tommy Edman: Cranks 11th homer
Edman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Brewers.
Edman ended a brutal slump at the plate -- he was 0-for-26 across his last seven games. The utility player also hadn't homered since June 15, going 23 contests without a long ball while hitting .154 with four doubles in that span. Edman is now slashing .224/.279/.401 with 11 homers, 40 RBI, 41 runs scored and three stolen bases over 298 plate appearances. He continues to fill a near-everyday role when healthy, and he's currently splitting time between third base (versus righties) and second base (versus lefties).

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Smacks homer in loss
Ohtani went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Saturday's 8-7 loss to the Brewers.
Ohtani sparked a rally in the third inning with his homer and added an RBI single in the sixth. The two-way superstar has had a relatively quiet July as a batter, hitting .192 (10-for-52) over 14 games, though four of those hits have been homers. He's still at a .274/.379/.604 slash line on the year while adding 33 long balls, 63 RBI, 92 runs scored, 12 doubles, seven triples and 13 stolen bases through 97 games.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Contributes four RBI in blowout win
Perdomo went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run scored and one stolen base in Saturday's victory over the Cardinals.
Perdomo played a key role in the Diamondbacks' blowout win Saturday, tying his season high with four RBI. The switch hitter has been solid all year and especially productive lately, slashing .327/.464/.455 with 13 RBI over his past 15 games. While he's tallied just four extra-base hits during this stretch, Perdomo's consistent contact and strong plate discipline allow him to thrive without relying heavily on power.

Mookie Betts SS | LAD
Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Won't be moved down in order
Though Betts got a day off Saturday and may sit again Sunday, he won't be moved below the No. 2 spot in the batting order despite his season-long struggles, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
It's been a tough campaign so far for Betts, who didn't play during the Dodgers' two-game, season-opening set against the Cubs in Tokyo due to an illness and hasn't put up his usual numbers at the plate. The outfielder-turned-shortstop has posted just a .688 OPS through 90 contests, which would be his first time with an OPS below .800 as a big leaguer. After Betts went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Los Angeles' first game out of the break, manager Dave Roberts elected to give him a day off for a reset, and it's TBD whether Betts will be back in the lineup Sunday. Nonetheless, Roberts has decided not to move the eight-time All-Star down in the order, saying, "I just don't know if hitting him first or ninth or anywhere in between changes where he's at mechanically. I think he's very sold on the fact that he's got to clean some things up mechanically. Where you hit in the order isn't going to change that." The decision to keep Betts near the top of the order bodes well for his fantasy production (despite his struggles, Betts has scored a healthy 56 runs), though managers who invested heavily in the usually dependable veteran on draft day have largely been let down by his numbers this season.
