Pauley went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Cardinals.

Pauley belted his first homer of the season, and he recorded his first RBI since April 19. With Connor Norby (wrist) still likely to be sidelined for about another month, Pauley should have a clearer path to reps at third base for the time being. That said, Pauley is slashing just .224/.288/.318 with seven doubles, seven RBI and one stolen base over his 119 plate appearances.

Lodolo did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Dodgers, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 11 over 5.1 innings.

Coming off his best outing of the season, Lodolo followed it up with another impressive showing, setting a new season high with 11 strikeouts. The only blemish on the southpaw's line came via a two-run home run from Tommy Edman in the second inning, but he otherwise kept the star-studded Dodgers in check. The 26-year-old has been outstanding of late, compiling a 2.02 ERA with a stellar 53:8 K:BB across his last eight starts. Lodolo will look to maintain this dominant stretch in his next projected outing, which comes early next week against the Cubs.

Happ was removed from Tuesday's game against Milwaukee after fouling a ball off his left foot, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Happ wasn't able to finish his at-bat after sending a ball to his foot in the eighth inning. He'll presumably head in for imaging to determine whether he suffered any structural damage, and the Cubs should provide more information on his status in the near future. Vidal Brujan entered as a pinch hitter for Happ and could be in line for starts in left field if the latter has to miss any amount of time.

King (shoulder) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment, likely with Triple-A El Paso, this weekend, Marty Caswell of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Manager Mike Shildt said Tuesday that King felt good after tossing 40 pitches in a sim game Monday, and the next step for the right-hander appears to be a minor-league outing. King's last game action took place May 18, so he might need multiple rehab appearances before he's ready to return to San Diego's rotation. That said, King declared himself "100 percent" and pain-free following the sim game, and he approached his usual velocity while throwing his full arsenal of pitches during the session, per AJ Cassavell of MLB.com. An early-to-mid-August return for King isn't out of the question.

Chourio exited Tuesday's game versus the Cubs with right hamstring spasms.

Chourio's hamstring began bothering him while he ran into third base after hitting a triple in the fifth inning. While it appears the 21-year-old avoided a significant injury, the Brewers may err on the side of caution and sit him down for a day or two so he can recover properly.

Acuna was removed from Tuesday's game against Kansas City with right Achilles tightness.

Acuna seemed unable to run at a full sprint in the outfield during the sixth inning, and the decision to pull him was made after he couldn't track down a flyball off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino that resulted in a ground-rule double. Atlanta has labeled Acuna's injury as just tightness, so he doesn't seem to be dealing with a severe injury, but he may still need a day or two off to recover.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Monday that Rushing isn't a candidate to be moved ahead of the trade deadline, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports. "I just don't see a world in which he's moved anyway, and I think he's smart enough to realize that," Roberts said.

The caveat, of course, is that the team's front office -- not Roberts -- is the entity responsible for making any trade decisions on Rushing. That said, Roberts' confidence about Rushing remaining with the club past the deadline isn't all that surprising, given that the rookie backstop entered the campaign as one of baseball's top catching prospects. Rushing has struggled at the plate since getting called up to the majors May 14, posting a .200/.270/.275 slash line with one home run, 11 RBI and a 40.4 percent strikeout rate over 89 plate appearances. That said, Roberts pointed out that a learning curve is understandable since the 24-year-old is having to adjust to sporadic playing time.

Chourio was removed from Tuesday's game against the Cubs due to an apparent right hamstring injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Chourio pulled up a bit while legging out a fifth-inning triple, and he appeared to be grabbing at his right hamstring before coming out of the game. The Brewers will take a closer look at their young star and should offer an update on his status relatively soon. Meanwhile, Blake Perkins figures to be the next man up if Chourio needs to miss any starts in center field.

Kiner-Falefa isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Kiner-Falefa will get a chance to rest his legs after driving in two RBI and scoring during Monday's contest. His absence will allow Liover Peguero to pick up a start at shortstop while batting ninth.

Davis isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus San Francisco.

Davis has gone 0-for-24 at the plate since July 11, and his recent struggles will cause him to give up another start behind the plate to Joey Bart, who will bat eighth Tuesday.
