  • Orioles' Nick Raquet: Sent back to Triple-A

The Orioles optioned Raquet to Triple-A Norfolk. He'll give up his spot on the roster to Trey Gibson, who was called up from Norfolk to start Sunday's game against the Yankees. Raquet's latest stint in the majors lasted just one day, with the 30-year-old tossing a scoreless inning in Saturday's 9-4 loss.

  • Orioles' Nick Raquet: Back in majors

The Orioles recalled Raquet from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday. Raquet surrendered three earned runs over 1.2 innings during his first stint with the O's this year but has since fired 5.2 shutout innings at Norfolk. He'll now get a chance to redeem himself in the big leagues while replacing Albert Suarez, who was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

  • Orioles' Nick Raquet: Reporting to major-league club

The Orioles recalled Raquet from Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday. Raquet was acquired via trade from the Cardinals on Monday and will go directly onto the Orioles' roster. The left-hander made two scoreless appearances for St. Louis last season and had allowed one run with a 3:0 K:BB over his first three innings with Triple-A Memphis this season. Raquet will give manager Craig Albernaz another lefty option in the bullpen.

  • Cardinals' Nick Raquet: DFA'd by St. Louis

The Cardinals designated Raquet for assignment Sunday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports. The left-hander was unable to earn a place on St. Louis' Opening Day roster, and he's now been jettisoned from the 40-man roster after making two relief appearances with Triple-A Memphis. Raquet should remain with the affiliate if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

  • Cardinals' Nick Raquet: Cut from major-league camp

The Cardinals optioned Raquet to Triple-A Memphis on Monday. Raquet made three appearances during Grapefruit League play, yielding one run with a 5:1 K:BB across three innings. The Cardinals don't have a ton of left-handed relief depth, so the lefty-throwing Raquet is a good bet to see some action at the big-league level this season.

  • Cardinals' Nick Raquet: Call-up official

The Cardinals selected Raquet's contract from Triple-A Memphis on Monday. The 29-year-old southpaw reliever earned a promotion after posting a 1.68 ERA and 57:9 K:BB over 48.1 innings between Double-A Springfield and Memphis this season. Raquet will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.
