Arenado went went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Brewers.

Arenado went yard in the fourth inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead for good. The third baseman has gone 12-for-22 (.545) with two homers, six RBI and a 5:2 BB:K over his last seven games, hitting safely in six of them. For the season, he's batting .284 with a .787 OPS, five long balls, 17 RBI, 15 runs scored, two doubles and no stolen bases over 27 contests.

Castellanos went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Cubs.

Castellanos delivered a key swing, launching a two-run homer to tie the game in the fifth inning for his first home run as a member of San Diego. The veteran outfielder had been off to a slow start, entering the game batting just .151 with seven RBI across 56 plate appearances. While the overall numbers remain underwhelming, the homer offers a potential sign that Castellanos is beginning to find his timing at the plate after a difficult start.

Rodriguez allowed two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Wednesday.

Rodriguez's pitch count got elevated as he matched his season high with four walks. He ended up throwing 48 of 87 pitches for strikes and was pulled after walking Gary Sanchez in the fifth inning. Rodriguez has allowed 10 runs over his last 14.2 innings, and he's at a 3.03 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 22:16 K:BB across 32.2 innings through six starts this season. He had a career-worst 3.5 BB/9 in 2025, but it's at 4.4 so far in 2026, which will likely limit his effectiveness if he can't reverse course with the free passes. The southpaw is lined up to make his next start at home versus the Pirates.

Sproat (0-2) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings to take the loss versus the Diamondbacks on Wednesday.

Sproat kept runs off the board until the fourth inning, when Adrian Del Castillo tagged him for a solo shot and Nolan Arenado followed up with a three-run homer. It's the first time since his first outing of the year that Sproat has given up multiple homers. He threw 52 of 82 pitches for strikes, but this outing was a reversion to his earlier struggles this year when it comes to pitching deeper into games. He's sporting a 6.75 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 25:15 K:BB across 26.2 innings over six appearances (four starts). Sproat is tentatively lined up for a matchup in St. Louis early next week, but his performance so far has been mixed at best.

Waldron did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out one over five innings.

Waldron labored early, throwing 41 pitches over the first two innings and allowing five baserunners, though he limited the damage to one run on an RBI single from Miguel Amaya. The right-hander later gave up a two-run homer to Pete Crow-Armstrong in the fourth but overall turned in a more stable outing compared to his first two starts, in which he allowed six earned runs in each. While it was a step forward for the knuckleballer, his season numbers remain inflated, as he now holds a 9.88 ERA, 1.98 WHIP and an 8:5 K:BB across 13.2 innings. Waldron could be in line for a more favorable outing next time against a Giants lineup that has struggled to score runs this season.

Wood went 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Wednesday's 14-2 win over the Mets.

Wood matched a season high in RBI on Wednesday, picking up multiple hits for the seventh time this year. The star outfielder has reached base safely in eight consecutive games, ripping four extra-base hits during that stretch. Overall this season, Wood is slashing .244/.404/.555 with 10 home runs, seven doubles, 24 RBI and five stolen bases across 151 plate appearances.

Albies went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Detroit.

Albies made an early impression with a two-run blast off Tarik Skubal in the first inning. In the ninth, Albies drew a walk, allowing Matt Olson to play the hero with a walk-off blast against Kenley Jansen. Albies has now hit safely in 11 straight games, going 17-for-42 (.405) with three homers and 11 RBI in that span. The second baseman has been superb over the first month-plus of the year, batting .317 with an .897 OPS, seven homers, 20 RBI, 22 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases over 31 contests. He has added a 9:16 BB:K, showing a contact-based approach at the plate that's leading to the best rate stats of his career.

Olson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-3 win over Detroit.

Olson took Kenley Jansen deep in the ninth inning to give Atlanta a walk-off win. This was Olson's third homer during his seven-game hitting streak, a span in which he's gone 12-for-27 (.444) with nine RBI and eight runs scored. The first baseman is now batting .306 with a 1.017 OPS, nine long balls, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored, 13 doubles and no stolen bases over 31 contests this year. He's missed the 30-homer mark in each of the last two regular seasons, but he's showing excellent power early in 2026, which will get him back over that threshold if it holds up throughout the year.

Taillon (2-1) earned the win Wednesday against the Padres, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk while striking out six over seven innings.

Taillon looked dominant early, retiring the first 14 batters he faced before running into trouble in the fifth inning. The right-hander surrendered a solo homer to Miguel Andujar and a two-run shot to Nick Castellanos in the inning, continuing a troubling trend with the long ball. Taillon has now allowed at least one homer in five straight starts, including multiple homers in three of those outings. Still, he settled in after the fifth and finished strong with two scoreless innings to secure the win. Taillon now owns a 4.41 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 31:13 K:BB across 34.2 innings and is slated to face Cincinnati next, a lineup that has struggled offensively this season.

Mead went 4-for-5 with a home run, a double, two RBI and four runs scored in Wednesday's 14-2 win over the Mets.

Mead couldn't be stopped Wednesday, crossing the plate a season-high four times while also submitting his first career four-hit attack. The infielder has gone deep three times in his past seven outings, though he was hitless in the other four contests. Overall, Mead is batting .226 with four homers, four doubles, seven walks and 12 RBI through 62 at-bats.
