Burleson went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's 3-2 win over Colorado.

Monday marked Burleson's third multi-hit game over his last five outings, and the steal was his first since July 13 versus Atlanta. He's slashing .289/.344/.491 with 14 home runs, 16 doubles and 46 RBI over 318 plate appearances since the start of May, and the lefty-hitting Burleson should continue to see most of his power production come versus right-handed pitching. He's slugging just .366 versus lefties as opposed to .469 against righties in 2025.

Mejia (1-1) took the loss and a blown save in Monday's 3-2 defeat to St. Louis, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk in one inning. He struck out one.

Mejia is sharing Colorado's closer gig with Victor Vodnik while Seth Halvorsen (elbow) is sidelined, but Monday' showing doesn't bode well for Mejia's chances of earning future save opportunities. Vodnik has also yielded at least one run in five of his last seven outings, so this is perhaps becoming a situation to avoid for fantasy purposes outside of rosters desperate for saves. Through 43 innings, Mejia has a 4.19 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 47:14 K:BB.

Turang went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 7-1 win over Pittsburgh.

Although Turang's seven-game hitting streak came to an end as a pinch hitter in Sunday's win over the Mets, he now has at least one knock in eight consecutive starts. The speedy second baseman is on a tear to begin August -- Turang is hitting .353 with five homers, three doubles, 11 RBI and two stolen bases over 34 at-bats so far this month.

The Marlins optioned Soriano to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

Soriano was roughed up for four earned runs on three hits and one walk in a one-inning appearance his last time out Saturday against Atlanta, causing his ERA to jump to 9.28 over 21.1 innings this season. He'll look to regain his footing at Triple-A following Monday's demotion.

The Mets activated Waddell (hip) from the 15-day injured list Monday and optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse.

Waddell suffered a right hip impingement in late July, and despite being optioned to Triple-A, the Mets were able to reverse the transaction and place him on the IL since he hadn't appeared for Syracuse following his demotion. Now that he's back to full health after making three rehab appearances with Syracuse, he'll stick around with the Triple-A club. Waddell owns a 4.34 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with a 38:17 K:BB across 47.2 innings (nine starts) for Syracuse this season.

Cavalli conceded four runs on seven hits and three walks over five frames while not factoring into the decision in Monday's 7-4 loss at Kansas City. He struck out three.

The 26-year-old looked to be relatively in control through the first five innings in this 88-pitch appearance, giving up two runs on three hits in the second. Cavalli was then unable to retire a batter in the sixth and ultimately chased by a Salvador Perez two-run homer. Through 9.1 frames this season, Cavalli has allowed four runs on 10 hits and four walks while punching out nine. The Washington righty currently lines up for a difficult matchup in his next start, scheduled to come at home against Philadelphia this weekend.

Mikolas didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Rockies, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk in 6.2 innings. He struck out three.

Mikolas brought a no-hit bid into the sixth inning, but it was broken up by a Tyler Freeman single during the sixth frame. The quality start was the veteran right-hander's sixth of the season, though he's exceeded five strikeouts just four times through 23 outings on the year. Mikolas has a lackluster 4.97 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 79:25 K:BB over 117.2 frames, so he doesn't shape up as an appealing streamer this weekend at home versus a dangerous Yankees lineup.

Dollander didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Cardinals, allowing one run on five hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out five.

The rookie right-hander was impressive in his first major-league start since July 6 versus the White Sox, as it was just the second time through 16 outings this year that he fired at least five innings while conceding just one run. Dollander generated a respectable 11 whiffs, and the five punchouts were his most since May 18 in Arizona. He still has a rough 6.35 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 57:36 K:BB across 73.2 frames, so Dollander will remain tough to trust if he sticks around for his next scheduled turn versus the Diamondbacks at hitter-friendly Coors Field.

Donovan (groin) recorded a two-RBI double in a pinch-hit appearance Monday against the Rockies.

Donovan was called upon in the bottom of the eighth inning and put his club ahead with a clutch double. The 28-year-old hadn't taken an at-bat since Friday due to a left groin injury, but if he emerges from Monday's matchup feeling healthy, there's a chance he could return to the starting lineup Tuesday.

Quintana (10-4) picked up the win Monday against the Pirates, allowing one run on three hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out three.

Quintana delivered his second consecutive quality start, and he's now tossed at least five innings in 11 straight outings as well as 17 of his 18 for the season. The 36-year-old southpaw continues to struggle with containing the long ball, however, as he's now served up at least one homer in five straight starts. Quintana will bring a steady 3.44 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 69:36 K:BB over 99.1 frames into his next scheduled outing in Cincinnati against the Reds, who have a pitiful .607 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the beginning of July.
