Fernando Tatis Jr. RF | SD
Padres' Fernando Tatis: On base four times in loss
Tatis went 3-for-3 with a triple, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 8-2 loss to the White Sox.
Tatis logged a three-hit effort for just the second time this season. The triple was his first extra-base hit since he had a double in his other three-hit game April 11 versus the Rockies. The lack of power is a concern, but Tatis has racked up three steals over the last four games. For the season, he's batting. 270 with a .665 OPS, no home runs, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored, four doubles and nine steals across 31 games.

German Marquez SP | SD
Padres' German Marquez: Hit hard in loss
Marquez (3-2) allowed seven runs on five hits and five walks while striking out two over five innings to take the loss versus the White Sox on Friday.
Marquez got lit up in the second inning, as the White Sox tagged him for six runs in the frame, including a three-run home run by Munetaka Murakami. Colson Montgomery added a solo shot in the fifth to make this the third time Marquez has allowed multiple homers in a start. Interestingly, all of those multi-homer outings have come at spacious Petco Park. Marquez is at a 5.76 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 19:12 K:BB across 29.2 innings through six starts this season. His next outing is tentatively projected to be on the road in San Francisco.

Otto Lopez SS | MIA
Marlins' Otto Lopez: Three more hits Friday
Lopez went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Phillies.
Lopez now has a trio of three-hit games in the last seven contests and has recorded multiple hits in 11 of Miami's 32 games to begin the season. He smacked his eighth double in the bottom of the first inning and then produced RBI singles in the eighth and ninth. Lopez is now slashing .333/.371/.504 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 22 runs scored, five stolen bases and a 6:26 BB:K across 132 plate appearances.

Eury Perez SP | MIA
Marlins' Eury Perez: Strikes out six against Philly
Perez (2-3) took the loss Friday against the Phillies, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts across five innings.
Perez breezed through the first three innings, piling up five strikeouts, but he ran into trouble in the fourth with two runs allowed on three hits, one walk and a wild pitch. Perez has some of the best pure stuff in baseball, but he's been hurt by inconsistent command. The right-hander has allowed at last three runs in six of seven starts to begin the season and now owns a 4.46 ERA and 39:16 K:BB across 36.1 innings. The swing-and-miss stuff is there, but Perez needs to be sharper and work deeper into games. He's made it six innings just twice. The 23-year-old is lined up to face Baltimore at home next week.

Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Two hits, RBI against Miami
Bohm went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.
Bohm now has a pair of multi-hit games in his last three appearances after producing just three multi-hit efforts across the Phillies' first 28 games. His batting average has been stuck below .200 since April 7, as the 29-year-old third baseman is slashing just .164/.228/.218 with one home run, 14 RBI, seven runs scored and an 8:20 BB:K across 123 trips to the plate. He's experienced sharp declines in his barrel rate and hard-hit percentage from last season. Bohm was a useful source of batting average with limited pop, but now he's not hitting for average or power in 2026. Just four of Bohm's 18 hits this season have gone for extra bases.

Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Two hits, RBI, SB in win Friday
Sosa went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.
After starting four straight games from April 14-18, Sosa made just his third start in the last eight days Friday. He's been one of the team's more consistent hitters of late. Over his last 12 appearances, Sosa is 12-for-37 (.324) at the plate with three doubles, one home run, six RBI, four runs scored, two stolen bases and a 1:7 BB:K.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Cracks first homer Friday
Stott went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, one walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 6-5 win over the Marlins.
With the Phillies nursing a 3-1 lead in the top of the seventh inning, Stott took lefty reliever Cade Gibson deep for his first homer of the season to put Philadelphia up by five. It's been a struggle at the plate for Stott through the first month-plus of the season, as he's now slashing just .211/.268/.311 with the one long ball, eight RBI, seven runs scored, six stolen bases and a 6:18 BB:K across 99 plate appearances. He has just three multi-hit games all season.

Brad Keller SP | PHI
Phillies' Brad Keller: Picks up save Friday
Keller recorded the save in Friday's 6-5 win over the Marlins, allowing one run on one hit and one walk with two strikeouts in the ninth inning.
Closer Jhoan Duran (oblique) has been sidelined since April 11, and Friday was Keller's first save chance in Duran's absence. Keller has been shaky this season and has now allowed a run in three of his last four appearances. However, he's yet to blow a save opportunity and owns a 1-0 record with four holds and a 4.61 ERA with 15 strikeouts to four walks across 13.2 innings.

Zack Wheeler SP | PHI
Phillies' Zack Wheeler: Fans eight to pick up first win
Wheeler (1-0) earned the win Friday against the Marlins, allowing one run on three hits and two walks with eight strikeouts across six innings.
After throwing 84 pitches in his 2026 debut last weekend against Atlanta, Wheeler got up to 94 pitches Friday and generated 14 whiffs. His stuff looked good, but Wheeler's velocity was noticeably down again versus Miami, as he averaged 93.6 mph with his fastball after throwing it 96.1 mph in 2025 and 94.7 mph last Saturday. The soon-to-be 36-year-old may still be building up his arm following last season's shoulder issue. Through two starts, Wheeler has posted a 2.45 ERA and 14:5 K:BB across 11 innings. He is lined up to face the Athletics at home next week.

Orion Kerkering RP | PHI
Phillies' Orion Kerkering: Turns in another scoreless outing
Kerkering threw a clean seventh inning Friday against Miami. He struck out one.
Following a delayed start to the season due to a hamstring strain he sufferend during the spring, Kerkering is off to a solid start as one of Philadelphia's high-leverage arms. The right-hander has rattled off seven consecutive scoreless outings, and he has a 2.31 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 9:6 K:BB with one hold across his first 11.2 innings on the year.
