  • Reds' Julian Garcia: Set to be called up Monday

Garcia is expected to be called up from Triple-A Louisville on Monday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports. Garcia is on track to make his major-league debut during the Reds' three-game series at home against the Brewers beginning Monday. The 31-year-old has posted a 3.03 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 54 strikeouts over 35.2 innings in 21 appearances, including two starts, with Louisville this season. Garcia will provide Cincinnati with another right-handed option out of the bullpen versus Milwaukee.
