The Phillies placed Bowlan on the 15-day injured list Monday due to a right groin strain.

Right-hander Seth Johnson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to join the bullpen as a replacement for Bowlan, who presumably sustained the injury during his appearance in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Diamondbacks. Bowlan had been working in middle relief for Philadelphia and posted a 3.86 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB across seven innings over seven appearances on the season.

Koss started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Orioles.

While he got the starting nod in place of Luis Arraez (wrist), Koss failed to make a positive impact at the plate. The 28-year-old infielder has gone hitless in both of his starts this season and has recorded one hit -- a double -- across seven plate appearances. Koss could continue starting for as long as Arraez is out, though manager Tony Vitello said he is targeting Tuesday's game in Cincinnati for Arraez's return, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Hentges threw one scoreless inning in Single-A San Jose's 3-2 win over Visalia on Sunday.

Hentges returned to game action following a long layoff while recovering from left shoulder surgery he underwent in September 2024 and arthroscopic right knee surgery in August 2025. He threw five of his 10 pitches for strikes in a scoreless first inning. The left-hander may require a lengthy ramp-up period after the extended absence, though he is expected to return at some point during the first half of the season.

The Phillies recalled Johnson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Monday.

He'll join the Philadelphia bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Jonathan Bowlan (groin), who was placed on the 15-day injured list. Johnson made 10 appearances for the Phillies in 2025 but will be receiving his first taste of the majors this season after posting an 11:3 K:BB while allowing two earned runs over six innings in six appearances for Lehigh Valley.

White (oblique) will be activated from Triple-A Jacksonville's 7-day injured list to make his season debut with the affiliate Thursday, FishOnFirst.com reports.

White was shelved after suffering a Grade 1 right oblique strain in spring training, but he's received the green light to rejoin the Triple-A club after completing a pair of rehab starts at Single-A Jupiter. The 21-year-old lefty built up to 3.2 innings and 63 pitches in his most recent outing with Jupiter on Thursday, allowing an unearned run on one hit and five walks while striking out six. If White can stay healthy and show improved control at Jacksonville, he should get the chance to make his MLB debut at some point later this summer.

McCann is not in the lineup for Monday's contest in Baltimore.

McCann is slated to handle the bulk of the catching duties while Gabriel Moreno (back) is shelved, but he will begin Monday's festivities on the bench. Adrian Del Castillo will do the catching and bat cleanup for Arizona.

The Pirates recalled Sisk from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday, Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com reports.

Sisk will be joining the big-league bullpen as a replacement for fellow lefty Hunter Barco, who had struggled with his control through his first four appearances and was unlikely to be available for Monday's game against the Nationals after tossing 1.2 innings the day before. The 28-year-old Sisk reached the majors for the first time in 2025, compiling a 3.57 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB In 17.2 innings over 19 appearances between stints with Kansas City and Pittsburgh.

The Pirates optioned Barco to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Barco cracked the Opening Day roster as a long reliever, but he was used sparingly and didn't pitch well on those occasions, allowing seven runs (five earned) with a 5:7 K:BB over seven innings of work. The southpaw will likely join the rotation at Indianapolis, where he can get stretched back out and wait for another opportunity in the majors.

The Nationals recalled Rutledge from Triple-A Rochester on Monday.

Rutledge ranked second on the Nationals with 63 appearances in 2025, but he netted a 5.77 ERA and 1.51 WHIP over 73.1 innings and was unable to secure a spot on the Opening Day roster coming out of spring training. He hasn't been especially sharp at Rochester this season with a 1:5 K:BB in five innings over six appearances, but Rutledge will get the call back to Washington nonetheless after relievers Ken Waldichuk (forearm) and Cole Henry (shoulder) were placed on the 15-day injured list Monday.

The Nationals recalled Ribalta from Triple-A Rochester on Monday.

He'll provide Washington with another healthy arm out of the bullpen after right-hander Cole Henry (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured in a corresponding move. Ribalta previously made 26 appearances for Washington between the 2024 and 2025 seasons, logging a 7.81 ERA and 2.06 WHIP across 27.2 innings.
