Veen went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

Veen has homered in both of his games in the majors this season, and they've both come on the road. The outfielder looks poised to fill a strong-side platoon role in right field alongside Jordan Beck, at least for the time being. Veen batted .327 and slugged .635 over 100 games with Triple-A Albuquerque this year prior to his call-up, and his favorable home park in the majors could allow him to maintain fantasy utility if he plays regularly down the stretch.

Freeland (4-10) allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out two over eight innings to earn the win over the Giants on Friday.

Freeland threw 66 of 95 pitches for strikes to get back in the win column. He's won two of his three starts in August, allowing just five runs (three earned) over 21.1 innings with a 13:6 K:BB in that span. Freeland has had a largely unimpressive season, but he's shown an ability to cover heavy innings on some occasions with seven starts of at least six frames. He's at a 6.27 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 98:27 K:BB through 120.2 innings over 22 starts this season. Freeland is lined up to make his next start at home versus the Dodgers, which will be a challenging matchup. He has allowed 14 runs over nine innings in two previous starts versus the Dodgers this season, both of which were in Los Angeles rather than Colorado.

Edman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

Edman has struggled a bit in August, going just 8-for-47 (.170) over 13 contests this month. He has swatted two homers and added five RBI. The utility man is batting .276 with a .760 OPS, four homers, 23 RBI, 23 runs scored, six doubles, two triples and four stolen bases over 47 games. Edman continues to see most of his playing time at second base in a starting role.

Pages went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

Pages' fifth-inning homer restored a one-run lead for the Dodgers. The outfielder is putting together another solid month, going 15-for-51 (.294) with two homers and six RBI over 13 contests in August so far. On the year, he's batting .272 with a .796 OPS, 20 homers, 77 RBI, 68 runs scored, 24 doubles, two triples and 11 stolen bases over 122 contests.

Diaz walked two and hit a batter while striking out one in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Friday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

Diaz still made it interesting by loading the bases with two outs, but he was able to avoid giving up a run for just the third time in his last eight outings. This was his second save in his last five chances, but the Dodgers appear committed to letting him work through his struggles. Diaz has posted a 10.66 ERA, 2.45 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB while converting seven of 11 save opportunities across 12.2 innings this season.

Yamamoto (12-7) allowed one run on four hits and two walks while striking out nine over six innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Friday.

Yamamoto was able to pick up his fourth quality start in five outings since the All-Star break, and his nine strikeouts were his most in any game in that span. The star right-hander limited the damage to a Joey Ortiz sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yamamoto is now at a 2.60 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 136:34 K:BB through 145.1 innings over 22 starts this season. His next outing is projected to be at home versus the Pirates.

Gasser (3-5) allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out seven over 6.1 innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Gasser posted a quality start, but he was also tagged for solo home runs by Andy Pages and Tommy Edman. This marks the first time Gasser has allowed a long ball in his last four starts, and he's given up just nine runs over 22 innings in that span. For the season, he's posted a 4.54 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 68:19 K:BB through 73.1 innings over 14 starts. He's projected to make his next start in another tough matchup at home versus Atlanta next week.

Pintaro (1-0) earned the win in relief Friday against the Nationals after allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two over two scoreless innings.

Pintaro entered the game in the sixth inning with New York trailing 1-0 and kept Washington off the board long enough for the offense to take the lead in the bottom half of the frame. The right-hander allowed two baserunners in the sixth but retired all three batters he faced in the seventh before departing. In the end, he needed 34 pitches to secure his first major-league victory. Pintaro has made eight appearances in relief for the Mets this season and owns a 4.15 ERA with a 18:8 K:BB across 17.1 innings.

Senga allowed one hit while striking out one over a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Friday's 4-1 win over the Nationals.

Senga recorded two quick outs before making things interesting. After allowing a single to Jacob Young and plunking CJ Abrams with a pitch, Senga fanned Abimelec Ortiz to earn his second save of the season. The right-hander has now recorded both of the Mets' saves since Devin Williams landed on the injured list Monday with a right shoulder strain, suggesting he'd the team's top ninth-inning option in the short term. That's a notable development after Senga went 0-8 with an 8.66 ERA over his first 13 appearances (eight starts) this season before losing his rotation spot. He has yet to allow a run and owns a 0.75 WHIP in four August relief outings.

Stock didnt factor into the decision Friday against Washington after allowing an unearned run on three hits and three walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings.

Stock bounced back nicely after struggling in his previous outing, when he allowed eight runs on nine hits and five walks across three innings in a loss to the Pirates. This time, he kept Washington without an earned run despite dealing with traffic throughout his start. The Nationals scored in the third after Francisco Lindor's error extended the inning, while Stock worked around three walks and three hits before departing with one out and two runners on in the fifth. Nate Lavender escaped that jam to keep Stock's line intact. The 36-year-old Stock lowered his ERA to 6.57, though his inability to work deep into games continues to limit his fantasy appeal. If Stock stays in the rotation, he'd make his next start at home against the Padres.
