Tigers' Kyle Finnegan: Officially activated
The Tigers reinstated Finnegan (groin) from the injured list Friday.
Finnegan has sat out the entire month of September while dealing with a right groin strain. The 34-year-old righty has pitched 14.1 shutout frames with a 19:3 K:BB since joining the Tigers at the trade deadline and could get save opportunities down the stretch.

Zach Dezenzo LF | HOU
Astros' Zach Dezenzo: Starting rehab assignment
Dezenzo (hand/elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Dezenzo was pulled from his rehab assignment Sept. 5 after suffering an elbow sprain, but he's been cleared to see game action again. He'll start up another minor-league rehab assignment Friday. Dezenzo will have a little over a week to get up to speed in time to see regular-season action.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Astros' Isaac Paredes: Reinstated from 60-day injured list
The Astros activated Paredes (hamstring) from the 60-day injured list Friday.
Paredes suffered a torn right hamstring in mid-July that threatened to end his season, but opted to forego surgery in hopes that he could make it back late in the year. He has accomplished that goal, though Paredes is likely not yet 100 percent and will be asked to take it easy on the basepaths. With Yordan Alvarez (ankle) landing on the 10-day injured list, Paredes will step into the Astros' designated hitter role.
