The Astros optioned Delgado to Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Delgado popped his first major-league home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians, but he finds himself back in the minors a day later. He's clearing off the roster to make room for the return of Nick Allen (hamstring) from the injured list.

The Astros activated Allen (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Allen has missed the past three weeks with a left hamstring strain, but he's been cleared to rejoin the active roster after playing two rehab games with Triple-A Sugar Land. The 27-year-old is expected to operate as a reserve infielder, though he'll start at shortstop and bat eighth in Monday's series opener versus the Twins while Jeremy Pena takes a seat due to leg discomfort, per Chandler Rome of The Athletic.

Keith is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Southpaw Ryan Weathers is on the bump for the Yankees, so the Tigers will send three of key left-handed hitters in Keith, Riley Greene and Kerry Carpenter to the bench to open up more spots in the lineup for righty bats. Keith has logged just 14 plate appearances versus lefties this season and has reached base on just two occasions.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

After a stretch of four consecutive starts, the left-handed-hitting Carpenter will hit the bench while the Yankees send southpaw Ryan Weathers to the bump. With Riley Greene and Colt Keith joining Carpenter on the bench, the Tigers will go with Jahmai Jones at designated hitter and Matt Vierling, James Outman and Ben Malgeri as their starters in the outfield from left to right.

Kremer (quadriceps) will throw a bullpen session at Camden Yards on Monday and is under consideration to return from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game versus the White Sox, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Kremer has been shelved since late April with a right quad strain, but he looks to be in line to rejoin the Orioles rotation Wednesday as long as he completes Monday's bullpen session and bounces back with no issues. The righty struck out eight over 6.2 scoreless frames in his last rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk on Friday, getting his pitch count up to 79. Kremer posted a 4.09 ERA and 16:2 K:BB over 11 innings covering two starts with Baltimore before getting hurt.

Greene is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

It's the first time since April 17 and just the second time all season that Greene has been absent from the lineup. Matt Vierling will play left field and bat leadoff versus left-hander Ryan Weathers while Greene takes a seat.

Benintendi is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Benintendi will be given a night off after he went 4-for-15 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run while serving as Chicago's designated hitter over the previous four games. Randal Grichuk will get a turn at DH in the series opener in Baltimore.

Ingle is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Ingle will head to the bench for the first time since he was called up from Triple-A Columbus on Friday. While making two starts at designated hitter and one in left field during the Guardians' weekend series versus Seattle, Ingle went 1-for-7 with three walks, two RBI and one run.

Manzardo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Rhys Hoskins will draw the start at first base while southpaw Tyler Alexander opens the game for Texas, but the left-handed-hitting Manzardo could replace Hoskins at some point later in the contest once the Rangers send a right-hander to the bump. Manzardo had started each of the Guardians' last 12 games but went just 8-for-42 (.190 average) with 15 strikeouts during that stretch.

Arias will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Rangers.

After returning to the active roster June 14 following an extended stint on the injured list, Arias got off to a rough start while filling a utility role for the Guardians, slashing just .182/.182/.227 with 13 strikeouts in seven games. With Daniel Schneemann having endured an even longer dry spell at the plate, the Guardians appear to have turned third base over to Arias while the club awaits the return of Jose Ramirez (hand) from the injured list. Arias will draw a third consecutive start after going 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run over the final two games of the Guardians' weekend series versus the Mariners.
