Wells went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 20-9 romp over the Brewers.

With a left-hander starting on the mound for Milwaukee, Wells batted sixth in the lineup rather than occupying the leadoff spot as he did on Opening Day. However, that didn't affect his performance at the plate, as the third-year catcher went deep in the first inning for one of four Yankees long balls in the frame and one of a franchise-record nine hit by the team overall in the win. After an eye-opening six-homer performance during Grapefruit League play, Wells has continued to impress at the start of the regular season, going deep in each of his first two contests.

Peraza went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run Saturday in a 20-9 win against the Brewers.

Peraza didn't start the contest, but he was given a chance to pinch hit with New York up 18-6 in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old took advantage of the opportunity, drilling a two-run blast to left field. The long ball was the Yankees' ninth of the game, establishing a franchise record.

Chisholm went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run in Saturday's 20-9 victory versus Milwaukee.

The Yankees set a franchise record with nine home runs in the rout, and Chisholm got in on the action with a 442-foot solo blast in the third inning. The veteran slugger slotted into the cleanup spot but mostly came up with the bases empty since Aaron Judge blasted three homers one spot ahead of him in the lineup. Chisholm's big performance followed an 0-for-3, two-strikeout performance in New York's season opener.

Kremer (1-0) got the win over Toronto on Saturday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings, striking out six in the Orioles' 9-5 win.

Kremer was shaky out of the gate, allowing three consecutive hits to open the game and two runs in the first inning. He gave up a two-run homer to Andres Gimenez in the third inning and allowed another run in the fifth, but Baltimore's offense had plenty of firepower, and Kremer scratched out the win. The righty produced a 4.10 ERA in 2024 and a 4.12 ERA the year before and profiles as a solid middle-of-the-rotation arm for a playoff contender in Baltimore. He is tentatively lined up for a road start against Kansas City next week.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and three total runs Saturday in a 20-9 rout of Milwaukee.

Goldschmidt set the tone for a record-breaking day for the Yankees with a leadoff homer off Nestor Cortes in the bottom of the first inning. That long ball was the first of three consecutive first-pitch homers New York hit to begin their half of the first frame and the first of nine the team belted overall in the game, setting a new franchise record. Of note, Goldschmidt batted leadoff Saturday, the first time he has done so in a big-league game.

Bellinger went 3-for-5 with a home run, three total runs and four total RBI in Saturday's 20-9 beatdown of the Brewers.

Aaron Judge stole the show for New York with three home runs, but Bellinger contributed plenty himself by plating four runs. His first-inning homer was the second of three consecutive for the Bronx Bombers and was also the first of Bellinger's tenure with the Yankees. The veteran outfielder has gone 4-for-7 with five RBI through two games this season.

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer, walk and strikeout in a 9-5 loss to Baltimore.

After hitting just nine home runs in 2024 over 583 at-bats, the 26-year-old is already up to two homers through three games this year. Gimenez was acquired by Toronto from Cleveland in December and has batted cleanup in the first three games of 2025, so it appears he'll have more RBI potential with his new club.

Bichette went 4-for-4 with a walk, two doubles and two runs in a 9-5 loss to the Orioles on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has a hot bat to start the 2025 season, hitting .500 (6-for-12) in the early going with three runs, two doubles, one walk and no strikeouts. As long as he can stay healthy, Bichette figures to be a good candidate for runs hitting atop the Blue Jays offense in 2025.

Westburg went 4-for-5 with two home runs and an additional run scored in a 9-5 win over Toronto on Saturday.

Westburg is off to a blazing start in 2025 with a robust .462 batting average (6-for-13) to go along with three home runs and four runs through three games. He took advantage of a rusty Max Scherzer and followed up Colton Cowser's leadoff homer with a 434-foot smash to left-center to give the Orioles an early 2-0 lead. Westburg's second homer of the contest came in the seventh inning and finished the scoring for the game. He's batted leadoff against right-handed pitchers in the first three games of the season and has some serious run potential this year.

Morel went 2-for-2 with two walks Saturday against the Rockies.

Morel had only a .547 OPS across 190 plate appearances with the Rays in 2024, putting his playing time in doubt entering the new campaign. He's started both of the Rays' games to this point, though a prolonged slump could put his plate appearances in jeopardy.
