Heim is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cincinnati.

Heim and Kyle Higashioka have now drawn three starts apiece in the Rangers' first six games of the season. It will likely continue to be a fairly even playing time split between the two catchers.

Aranda is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Aranda has gone 5-for-9 with four doubles, an RBI and two runs in the first four games of the season but will take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Curtis Mead will receive the start at first base versus Pittsburgh righty Thomas Harrington.

The Astros transferred Javier (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for right-hander Nick Robertson, who was acquired via trade Tuesday. Javier's timetable for making his season debut won't change as a result of the transaction, as he is not expected to return until the second half of the season as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery.

The Astros acquired Robertson from the Blue Jays on Tuesday in exchange for Edinson Batista, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Robertson had been booted from Toronto's 40-man roster and now will report to Triple-A Sugar Land, where he will provide relief depth for Houston. The 26-year-old has made 27 appearances at the major-league level, compiling a 5.30 ERA and 40:11 K:BB in 35.2 innings.

Julien will start at designated hitter and bat eighth in Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

It's the first start of the season for Julien, who has been limited in the early going due to an illness. He did receive three plate appearances off the bench in Monday's loss to the White Sox, going hitless.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Yoshida (shoulder/back) has been cleared to resume baseball activities and took approximately 50 swings with a bat Saturday, Chris Cotillo of MLB.com reports.

Yoshida opened the season on the 10-day injured list while he continues his rehab program for the labral repair surgery he underwent Oct. 3. The 31-year-old was also managing back tightness at the tail end of spring training, but after a brief shutdown period, he's now resumed focusing on rehabbing the shoulder. Yoshida was able to serve as a designated hitter during the Grapefruit League, but he'll need to complete a throwing program and play the outfield in some minor-league rehab games before being activated from the IL. Cora said that Yoshida is feeling better but still not doing any throwing, so Yoshida's season debut doesn't appear to be imminent.

Goldschmidt will start at first base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's game versus the Diamondbacks.

When Goldschmidt batted leadoff in the Yankees' second game of the season, the feeling was that it was only because the club was facing a left-hander. However, he has now remained at the top of the batting order in the two contests since then as well, and both of them have been against righties. The Yankees have scored a whopping 32 runs in two games with Goldschmidt in the leadoff spot, so manager Aaron Boone doesn't feel the need to switch things up. After hitting leadoff Opening Day, Austin Wells is batting sixth for the third game in a row.

Wells will start at catcher and bat sixth in Tuesday's contest against the Diamondbacks.

After hitting leadoff on Opening Day, Wells has now batted sixth in three straight games, including in two straight against right-handed pitching. Paul Goldschmidt is again serving as the Yankees' leadoff hitter. The development dings Wells' fantasy outlook a bit, as he had appeared in line to be the team's regular leadoff hitter versus righties.

The Rays placed Kim (shoulder) on the 10-day injured list Thursday.

Kim didn't play in any games during spring training while continuing his recovery from October surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder, but he was throwing, hitting and taking part in fielding drills by the end of the spring. The 29-year-old expressed optimism that he'll be ready to come off the IL by the end of April, but a May debut looks more realistic for Kim, who should handle an everyday role in the middle infield once he's officially cleared.

The Rays placed Faedo on the 15-day injured list Thursday due to right shoulder inflammation.

Faedo opened the season on the shelf after reporting discomfort in his shoulder following his final Grapefruit League appearance March 12. He's eligible to return from the IL beginning next Tuesday, but since he's currently shut down from throwing, Faedo is likely multiple weeks away from making his Rays debut.
