Gimenez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.

After starting the first 11 games of the season and clubbing three early homers, Gimenez will hit the bench Tuesday while mired in a 1-for-13 slump across the past four contests. Davis Schneider will take over at second base and bat sixth in his place.

Burger is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cubs.

It's the first day off this season for Burger, who is just 4-for-38 in his first 11 contests with his new team. Josh Smith is starting at first base and batting sixth for the Rangers.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Tuesday that Lowe (oblique) is "moving pretty pain free," Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Cash added that Lowe, who suffered a Grade 2 right oblique strain on Opening Day, is "still a ways" away from a return, but the club is "happy with the way his body is feeling." While it's encouraging that Lowe is feeling better, a clearer picture on his timetable won't be available until after he starts ramping up activities, and it's uncertain when that might happen.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Bellinger (illness) was feeling progressively better Tuesday and was available off the bench in the team's loss to the Tigers, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Bellinger didn't wind up playing as he recovers from food poisoning. However, it sounds like he's got a shot to be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

The Rangers transferred Bradford (elbow) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Tuesday.

Bradford is still working his way back from a sprained left elbow that he suffered during spring training. He won't be eligible to return until late May at the earliest.

Kurtz is hitting .412 (14-for-37) with four home runs in eight games for Triple-A Las Vegas.

Kurtz's assignment to Triple-A is notable, as all the other top college hitters from the 2024 draft class (aside from Cam Smith) were assigned to Double-A. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, Kurtz impressed in spring training with the Athletics, putting up a .973 OPS with two home runs and a 5:7 K:BB, and hasn't slowed down. His strong start to the season could see him called up earlier rather than later as a result.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Tuesday that DeLuca (shoulder) is likely to miss 2-to-4 weeks, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

DeLuca landed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right shoulder strain, an injury he believes he suffered on a diving catch Friday. He is able to swing a bat and run without issue, but throwing is a problem, so they'll give the injury at least a couple weeks to calm down. Kameron Misner is starting in center field for the Rays on Tuesday and should handle the position regularly while DeLuca is out.

The Rangers optioned Garabito to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Garabito threw a season-high 51 pitches across 3.1 innings of long relief in Monday's 7-0 loss to the Cubs, so the Rangers need a fresh arm and selected the contract of Caleb Boushley. Garabito holds a 9.00 ERA and 8:1 K:BB across eight innings of work across three games for Texas this season.

The Rangers optioned Duran to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

With Josh Jung (neck) back from the injured list, Duran is the odd man out in the Rangers' infield mix. He failed to record a hit or get on base across his first 12 plate appearances to begin the season. Duran will try to find his swing with more regular playing time in the minors.

The Rangers selected Boushley's contract from Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday.

Boushley appeared in two regular-season games out of the bullpen for the Twins last season, logging a 4.50 ERA and 1:2 K:BB across four innings of work. He's worked almost exclusively as a starter in the minors and figures to be available in long relief for Texas.
