Torres isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Minnesota.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a walk Friday in his first game back from the injured list, but he'll grab a seat on the bench Saturday while Detroit eases him back into regular playing time. Colt Keith will pick up another start at second base while Spencer Torkelson starts at first and Justyn-Henry Malloy serves as the DH.

Herrin (2-0) allowed one hit over 1.1 innings to pick up the win in Friday's 7-0 victory over the Royals.

Starter Tanner Bibee was pulled after giving up a fourth walk and with Cleveland leading, 3-0, in the fifth inning, paving the way for Herrin to vulture the win. The reliever has two wins and two holds over six appearances, allowing one run while striking out five over five innings. Herrin shined for the Guardians in 2024, posting a 1.92 ERA over 75 regular-season appearances (fifth in MLB). The lefty typically pitches when the Guardians are leading and/or to get out of trouble created by another pitcher.

Dingler isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins.

Detroit will give Dingler a chance to catch his breath Saturday after he went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Friday's win. Tomas Nido will start behind the plate and bat ninth.

Amaya went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Red Sox on Friday.

Amaya has started six straight games at shortstop and 11 of 13 games overall. He's struggled mightily, collecting only four hits across 33 at-bats, though he managed his first extra-base hit of the season Friday to account for his two RBI. The addition of Chase Meidroth could threaten Amaya's playing time, though the White Sox have a number of moving pieces, so the situation will be worth monitoring.

Keith went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 7-6 win over the Twins.

It's been a bit of a slow start to the year for Keith, as this was just his second multi-hit effort through 13 games and he's batting only .200 overall. The 23-year-old is also still seeking his first home run after slugging 13 of them in 148 games as a rookie in 2024. Keith is a talented offensive player, so despite the down numbers, he should continue to see regular playing time.

Vest (1-0) tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief and earned the win in Friday's 7-6 victory over the Twins. He allowed one hit and struck out two.

Vest recorded the last out of the bottom of the seventh inning and then pitched a clean eighth as well. After allowing a run in his first appearance of the year back on March 28 against the Dodgers, the veteran righty has rattled off five straight scoreless outings. Overall, Vest has a strong 1.59 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and seven strikeouts across 5.2 innings of relief. He should continue to work in a high-leverage role in front of Tommy Kahnle.

Narvaez went 1-for-3 with three RBI in Friday's 11-1 win over the Red Sox.

Narvaez was recalled to the big-league club Thursday with Korey Lee (ankle) sidelined. He made his debut with the White Sox on Friday and delivered a two-RBI single in the seventh inning to record his first hit. Matt Thaiss should be Chicago's primary catcher for the time being, but Narvaez will mix in for occasional starts behind the dish.

Martinez started in center field and went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 7-0 win over Kansas City.

Martinez was called up this week and made his season debut Friday, replacing the injured Lane Thomas (wrist) in the lineup. The lefty-hitting Nolan Jones replaced Thomas the previous two games when the Guardians faced right-handers, before manager Stephen Vogt went with the switch-hitting Martinez against lefty Kris Bubic on Friday. Other than Steven Kwan, Guardians' outfielders -- Thomas, Jones and Jhonkensy Noel -- have not provided much offense. There's an opportunity for Martinez to seize more playing time.

Meidroth went 1-for-1 with three walks and a run scored Friday against the Red Sox.

The White Sox selected Meidroth's contract before Friday's game, and he slotted in seventh in the order while playing second base. He enjoyed a strong debut, which was indicative of his high-contact and patient approach at the plate. He offers limited power but could contribute double-digit steals with regular playing time.

Andujar went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Mets.

After he brought home the Athletics' first run of the game with a second-inning single, Andujar chased Griffin Canning from the game with a two-run blast in the sixth. It was the first long ball of the year for the 30-year-old outfielder, and Andujar has had a solid start to the campaign, batting .310 (13-for-42) through 12 appearances with six runs and six RBI.
