Dominguez is not in the Yankees' starting lineup against the Rays on Friday.

Dominguez will begin Friday's contest in the dugout after going 0-for-7 with one RBI and five strikeouts over his last two games. Cody Bellinger, Trent Grisham and Aaron Judge will man the outfield for the Yankees in the second game of the series.

Moore is not in the lineup for Friday's game in Toronto.

Moore is coming off a monster series against the Reds, having gone 7-for-12 with two home runs and two stolen bases. Despite that, he will begin the series opener versus the Blue Jays on the bench. Miles Mastrobuoni will start at second base and hit seventh for the Mariners.

The Rays placed Palacios on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a right knee sprain, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

The 27-year-old was reinstated from the IL on Thursday after missing the start of the campaign due to a fractured right ring finger, but he apparently tweaked his knee while going 3-for-4 with a double, a run and a stolen base in his season debut. According to Bass, manager Kevin Cash said the injury is similar to the one Palacios dealt with last season, which sidelined him for all of August and most of September. Palacios is without an official timeline for his return but seems likely spend more than the 10-day minimum on the IL.

The Tigers recalled Hanifee from Triple-A Toledo on Friday.

The move replenishes Detroit's bullpen after Beau Brieske (ankle) was placed on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. Hanifee cracked the Tigers' Opening Day roster, and in seven appearances before being optioned to Triple-A on Tuesday, he posted a 2.25 ERA and 1.12 WHIP across eight innings.

The Tigers placed Brieske on the 15-day injured list Friday with right ankle inflammation.

It's not clear how long the ankle has been bothering Brieske, but perhaps it has contributed to his 8.59 ERA in seven appearances this season. Brenan Hanifee is taking his spot on the roster and in the bullpen.

Melendez is not in the Royals' starting lineup against the Tigers on Friday.

Melendez will sit for a second straight game while Drew Waters starts in left field and bats eighth against Tigers right-hander Jackson Jobe. Melendez has gone 1-for-20 with a solo home run and eight strikeouts over his last five games.

The Rays will call up Simpson from Triple-A Durham, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

The most prolific base stealer in the minors, Simpson swiped 104 bags between High-A Bowling Green and Double-A Montgomery last season and has already stolen eight bases this year with Durham. Simpson has no power and it's fair to question how much he'll ultimately hit, but his difference-making ability on the basepaths makes him a must-add in rotisserie leagues. Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that Simpson is "going to get an opportunity here and a little bit of a runway."

Robert is absent from the lineup for Friday's game in Boston.

Robert has gone hitless in his last four games to drag his season-long OPS down to .439, so he'll get a day Friday to regroup. The White Sox have Michael Taylor in center field and batting ninth Friday.

Springer (wrist) is starting in center field and batting fifth Friday against the Mariners.

The veteran outfielder is rejoining the lineup Friday after being out of the lineup the previous three games due to inflammation in his left wrist. After posting a career-worst .674 OPS last season, Springer has turned back the clock early in 2025 with a .375/.436/.604 slash line through 17 games.

Quero is absent from the lineup for Friday's game in Boston.

Quero was summoned for his major-league debut Thursday and started at catcher versus the Athletics, but he'll be on the bench as the White Sox begin a weekend series versus the Red Sox. The 22-year-old should still ultimately see the bulk of the playing time at catcher on the South Side, but Matt Thaiss is drawing the start Friday.
