Campbell went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI in Monday's 4-2 win over the White Sox.

Campbell, who fell behind 0-2, worked an eight-pitch at-bat before driving a sinker that caught too much of the plate the opposite way for two-run single. "Try to be selective as possible and swing at the right pitches," Campbell told Christopher Smith of MassLive.com. "Just try to be patient as possible." The rookie has been exposed to major-league pitching for three-plus weeks, including a second time against the White Sox, and he's learning how teams attack him and making adjustments. "We talk about there's an opportunity to face the same guys that he faced last week and to make adjustments and start looking for pitches," manager Alex Cora said. "And the last two days, he has been impressive. Not chasing." Campbell is batting .316/.428/.500 with eight extra-base hits, eight RBI, one steal, 11 runs, a 15.6 walk percentage (89th percentile) and 23.7 chase percentage (72nd percentile) over 91 plate appearances.

Moncada (thumb) has been able to swing right-handed and field grounders, per MLB.com.

Moncada landed on the 10-day IL due to a right thumb sprain April 10, so he's already eligible to be activated. It's not clear when the switch hitter will be able to resume swinging left-handed, but he at least appears to be making progress in his recovery. Moncada could return to the Angels before the end of April, but an early-May return is probably more likely.

Dezenzo went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk, two runs scored and an RBI on Monday against the Blue Jays.

Dezenzo was in the lineup for only the fifth time this season and for the first time since April 12. He smacked an RBI double in the fifth inning to get Houston on the board and is now 4-for-18 on the campaign.

Rodgers went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored Monday against the Blue Jays.

Rodgers sat for the last two games with right-handed pitchers on the mound, suggesting he may be slipping into a small-side platoon. However, he returned against Kevin Gausman and delivered a two-RBI double in the eighth inning. Rodgers now has three hits across 11 at-bats since returning from a hip injury.

Altuve went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBI and a run scored Monday against the Blue Jays.

Altuve doubled in a pair of runs in the fifth inning as part of a four-run rally in the frame. The hit also ended a six-game stretch during which Altuve failed to record an RBI and scored only one run. Despite that slow stretch, Alutive has managed 12 runs and nine RBI while hitting .303 across 22 games.

Springer went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in a loss to the Astros on Monday.

Toronto's lineup looked overwhelmed against Astros hurler Hunter Brown, but Springer was still able to make his fantasy managers happy with the pair of swipes, and he was the only Blue Jays player to reach base more than once in the loss. Springer has tailed off a bit of late -- over his past nine games, he's batting just .192 -- but the veteran outfielder still holds a robust .349/.425/.556 slash line on the season.

Gausman (2-2) took the loss against Houston on Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks while striking out six batters over six innings.

Gausman held Houston scoreless through four innings, but Atlanta got to him for four runs in the fifth. That was more than enough to send the veteran righty to his second loss, as Astros ace Hunter Brown dominated Toronto's lineup. Gausman still holds a solid 3.16 ERA on the campaign, and Monday marked the first time in 2025 that he's given up more than three runs in an outing. He'll look to get back in the win column his next time out, though he's projected for a tough matchup on the road against the Yankees this weekend.

Brown (3-1) earned the win over Toronto on Monday, pitching seven scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits and one walk while striking out nine batters.

That's now five quality starts in five outings this season for Brown, who recorded perhaps his best start of 2025 so far Monday. Both the seven innings and nine punchouts were season-best marks for the right-hander, and he pitched his third straight scoreless outing while extending his scoreless innings streak to 24 frames. It's too early in the campaign to be prognosticating end-of-season awards, but Brown certainly has the look of a Cy Young contender considering his dominance so far. He ranks sixth among qualified pitchers with a 1.16 ERA and first with a 0.74 WHIP while registering a 31:6 K:BB through 31 innings.

Manager Aaron Boone expects Rice (elbow) to be back in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Guardians, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Rice has missed his club's last two matchups due to a bruised left elbow. The team will presumably give the first baseman another look Tuesday morning before making a final decision on his availability for the second game of the series.

Torres went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in Monday's 6-4 win over the Padres.

Batting leadoff, Torres helped set the table for the Tigers, and he pushed his batting average above .300 in the process. The infielder has exclusively batted first or second through 11 appearances this year, and if he keeps getting on base at a healthy clip, Torres could be in line for a big offensive season, particularly when it comes to runs.
