Dezenzo sat out Tuesday's game versus Toronto due to a jammed thumb, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Dezenzo injured himself while sliding into second base during Monday's game. Manager Joe Espada said after Tuesday's contest that the 24-year-old is feeling better after a day of rest and is expected to rejoin the starting lineup Wednesday, per Brian McTaggart of MLB.com.

Paredes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's win over Toronto.

The infielder followed up a three-game homer streak in mid-April with a 3-for-24 skid with no extra-base hits, but he got back on track Tuesday with a seventh-inning shot to give the Astros a late insurance run. Through his first 100 plate appearances, Paredes is slashing .233/.340/.384 with four long balls, one double, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored. As long as he maintains a spot in the heart of Houston's lineup, Paredes should have plenty of RBI chances going forward.

Pena went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over Toronto.

It was the first three-hit attack of the campaign by Pena, who extended his hitting streak to 13 games Tuesday. During this stretch, the speedy shortstop is batting .333 (16-for-48) with one home run, six RBI, nine runs scored and three stolen bases. Pena may not have the same run-scoring fantasy upside as he would with a higher spot in the lineup, but his hot hitting could help him work his way up the batting order.

Warren did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's loss to the Guardians. He allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over five-plus innings while striking out five.

Warren cruised through five shutout frames with little threat from Cleveland's lineup. He allowed two singles to begin the sixth inning and was charged with both runs after leaving the contest. Warren has completed five innings in three of his five starts this season but has yet to go deep enough to produce a quality start. He dropped his ERA to 4.79 with a 21:10 K:BB through 20.2 innings. Warren is currently expected to start in Baltimore next week.

Smith threw a perfect inning and earned a save against the Yankees on Tuesday.

Smith needed only four pitches in the ninth inning to close out the 3-2 victory. He recorded seven holds through 11 appearances to start the year but has now converted saves in back-to-back days. Those two save chances came directly after Emmanuel Clase was rocked for three runs in a blown save against the Pirates on Sunday while pitching for a third straight day, which inflated his season ERA to 7.84. Clase has not appeared during either of the last two games while dealing with some shoulder discomfort, though for now it appears he'll avoid the injured list. Smith owns a 1.38 ERA with a 16:4 K:BB through 13 innings this season and could see a boost to his fantasy profile, depending on the health of Clase.

Lukes went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to Houston.

It was the first homer of the campaign by Lukes, who took Astros right-hander Ronel Blanco deep in the third inning. While Lukes does have four walks through his first 37 plate appearances of the year, he's batting just .200 with one double, five RBI and seven runs scored in 15 games. With Daulton Varsho (shoulder) nearing a return to Toronto's outfield, it's quite possible Lukes will be the odd man out when a corresponding move needs to be made in order to activate the former from the injured list.

Bibee (2-2) allowed two runs on five hits and three walks over six innings Tuesday, striking out five and earning a win over the Yankees.

Bibee was taken deep by Ben Rice on the first pitch of the game, but the Yankees didn't plate another run until Jazz Chisholm's sacrifice fly in the sixth inning. Bibee picked up his first win since his season debut March 30; he was 0-2 with an 8.16 ERA in three starts between wins. The 26-year-old threw 70 of 106 pitches for strikes but forced only four whiffs. Bibee now owns a 5.19 ERA with a 20:14 K:BB through 26 innings. He's projected to face the Twins at home next week.

Polanco went 1-for-4 with one walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to Boston.

Polanco opened the scoring in the first inning, when he took a returning Brayan Bello deep to right-center field for a solo homer. It was Polanco's fourth homer of the year, and he's started the season slashing .339/.356/.589 with one stolen base, six runs scored and 13 RBI in 60 plate appearances.

Kwan went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.

Kwan continues to display his elite contact skills and is up to nine multi-hit performances this season, including five over his last eight games. The 27-year-old outfielder singled twice Tuesday and scored a run during Cleveland's three-run sixth inning. Kwan is now slashing .341/.400/.505 with 17 runs scored through 23 games.

Bassitt (2-1) took the loss against the Astros on Tuesday after allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk in 5.1 innings. He struck out three.

Although Bassitt had allowed just two runs through his first four starts of the year, it was a struggle for him Tuesday. The veteran right-hander matched a season low with three punchouts, and most of the damage was done during a three-run first inning by the Astros. Bassitt still sports a 1.88 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a sparkling 34:6 K:BB over 28.2 frames ahead of a tough matchup at home against Boston in his next scheduled outing. However, the righty does have a strong 2.27 ERA and 35:18 K:BB in seven appearances (43.2 innings) versus the Red Sox as a member of the Blue Jays since 2023.
