Kirk went 2-for-4 with a two-run double in Friday's 4-2 win over the Yankees.

Kirk's double in the ninth inning off Devin Williams brought home Andres Gimenez and George Springer and gave the Blue Jays a 3-2 lead. It was Kirk's sixth multi-hit game of the season, and the 26-year-old catcher is slashing .227/.263/.307 with four runs scored, one home run and eight RBI in 80 plate appearances.

Hoffman earned the save in Friday's 4-2 win over the Yankees, allowing one hit and striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not issue a walk.

Hoffman got the call to come in for the ninth inning to preserve a 4-2 Toronto lead. He yielded a two-out double to Ben Rice, but Hoffman finished things off on a Paul Goldschmidt pop out. Hoffman is up to six saves on the season (tied for fifth in the American League) and has a 1.35 ERA, 0.68 WHIP and 19:1 K:BB across 13.1 innings.

Carrasco did not factor into the decision in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Blue Jays, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out two over five scoreless innings.

Carrasco limited the Blue Jays to five baserunners and needed just 67 pitches (41 strikes) to get through five frames. He hasn't generated many strikeouts this season, but he has yielded one earned run or zero in two of his last three outings and has a 5.26 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB across 25.2 total innings this season. His next start is slated for next week against the Orioles at Camden Yards.

Williams (0-2) took the loss after blowing the save Friday against the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on two hits in the ninth inning. He did not record an out.

Williams was brought in for the ninth inning to protect a 2-1 lead. After giving up a single and hitting Andres Gimenez with a pitch, Williams surrendered that lead when Alejandro Kirk doubled to center field. Williams was tagged for a third run after being lifted. Friday marked Williams' first blown save opportunity but the second game in a row in which he gave up three earned runs. He has an 11.25 ERA and 2.38 WHIP over eight innings, and more outings like Friday's could lead to a change in who takes on closing duties out of the Yankees' bullpen.

The Phillies traded Clemens to the Twins on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.

Clemens was dropped from Philadelphia's 40-man roster Wednesday after appearing in just seven games, during which he went 0-for-6 with a walk. His move to Minnesota will put him back on a team's 40-man, and he figures to have an easier path to playing time in the Twins' infield with Willi Castro (oblique), Royce Lewis (hamstring) and now Luke Keaschall (forearm) all dealing with injuries.

Gilbert was removed from his start Friday against the Marlins due to right forearm tightness.

Gilbert made it through three perfect innings, striking out three batters before his forearm forced him to depart the game early. Two off days for the Mariners within the next week will give the 27-year-old extra time to recover before he's due to start again, but future updates from the team will help determine if he'll be able to do so.

Keaschall suffered a fractured right forearm after getting hit by a pitch in Friday's game against the Angels, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Keaschall was taken out of the game in the third inning after taking a pitch off his arm in the first, and it now appears he'll miss at least several weeks as a result of the incident. The Twins are also navigating injuries to Willi Castro (oblique) and Royce Lewis (hamstring), so they may turn to their farm system for help filling the latest gap in their infield.

Keaschall was removed from Friday's game against the Angels after getting hit on the hand by a pitch, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Keaschall took a pitch off his hand/wrist in the first inning, and although he ran for himself after getting plunked, he didn't come out of the dugout for his next at-bat. The Twins should provide an update on the 22-year-old once they take a closer look at him, but he can be considered day-to-day for now.

Leiter (finger) will return from the injured list to start Sunday's game against the Giants, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

A blister on Leiter's right middle finger sent him to the injured list April 4. The Rangers opted to get him a rehab start at Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, during which he fired 4.2 shutout innings while allowing just one hit and a walk alongside four strikeouts. The 25-year-old righty was pitching well before his injury as well, giving up one run in 10 frames over his first two starts.

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Friday that Robles' shoulder is healing as hoped and the 27-year-old outfielder could avoid surgery, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Robles suffered a small fracture in the humeral head of his left shoulder in early April, which was severe enough for him to be transferred from the 10-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday. The good news for Robles is that he is healing enough that surgery may not be necessary, making a mid-summer timeline for his return feasible. He was slashing .273/.283/.341 with three stolen bases and three RBI in 46 plate appearances before his injury.
