Williamson (back) is back in the lineup and batting eighth for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Williamson was scratched from the lineup Sunday against the Marlins due to back spasms, and Seattle had an off day Monday. With Dylan Moore (hip) placed on the 10-day IL earlier Tuesday, Williamson should see continued regular playing time. The rookie third baseman is slashing .310/.356/.429 with one home run, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and a 3:8 BB:K across his first 45 big-league plate appearances.

Tellez (hand) is back in the lineup and batting sixth for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Tellez was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup but is back in action against Angels right-hander Jack Kochanowicz. Tellez is slashing .170/.250/.434 with four home runs, 12 RBI and seven runs scored across 60 plate appearances this season.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Tuesday that McClanahan (triceps) has begun throwing-like activities but is not playing regular catch yet, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

It continues to be a "slow and steady" build-up for McClanahan, per Cash, as the left-hander works his way back from a nerve issue in his left triceps. He's already on the 60-day injured list, and there remains no timetable for when the southpaw will be ready for his season debut.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider indicated Tuesday that Barger will see a significant amount of playing time at third base moving forward, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

There will be fewer at-bats to be had in the outfield for Barger with Daulton Varsho (shoulder) back from the 10-day injured list, but it sounds like Barger will slide into the role vacated by Will Wagner, who was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo. Ernie Clement is at the hot corner Tuesday versus the Red Sox and could still see the bulk of the starts there, but Barger will get his fair share.

Wilson is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

It's a routine day off for Wilson, as Max Schuemann will bat ninth and play shortstop. Wilson is batting .321/.333/.459 with three home runs, 14 RBI, 16 runs scored and just six strikeouts across 112 plate appearances this season.

Alvarez (undisclosed) will start at designated hitter and bat third in Tuesday's game versus the Tigers.

Alvarez was pulled from Monday's game with an undisclosed injury after hitting a single in the bottom of the seventh inning. Whatever he was dealing with evidently was not a big deal, as he will not have to miss any starts.

Santos (knee) was transferred to the 60-day injured list by Seattle on Tuesday.

Santos is dealing with right knee inflammation. The Mariners needed his 40-man roster spot in order to select Samad Taylor's contract from Triple-A Tacoma.

Smith is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Tigers.

Smith is just 4-for-22 at the plate since his two-homer game April 18 and is now out of the lineup for the third time across the Astros' last six tilts. Zach Dezenzo is in right field and batting seventh for Houston.

The Mariners placed Moore on the 10-day injured list with right hip inflammation.

It's another blow to the Mariners' infield depth after Ryan Bliss suffered a torn biceps earlier in April. It's unclear when Moore suffered the injury, but it doesn't sound like a long-term issue. Moore has been one of Seattle's top hitters this season, slashing .286/.346/.557 with six home runs, nine RBI, 16 runs scored and five stolen bases. Leo Rivas and Miles Mastrobuoni are candidates to see more playing time for the Mariners.

The Mariners selected Taylor's contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday.

In order to add Taylor to the 40-man roster, the Mariners transferred right-hander Gregory Santos (knee) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL. Taylor will take over the 26-man active roster spot of infielder/outfielder Dylan Moore (hip), who was placed on the 10-day injured list. Taylor has appeared in 34 career games in the big leagues, slashing .215/.288/.277 with no home runs, four RBI and eight stolen bases.
