Faedo (shoulder) is scheduled to throw live batting practice May 6, MLB.com reports.

Faedo has been sidelined since March 21 due to the shoulder injury and is restarting his ramp-up process. He'll be out until at least late May, though he'll serve as a multi-inning reliever upon his return and may not need a full 30-day rehab assignment to be deemed MLB ready.

Kikuchi didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Detroit after allowing two runs on five hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out five.

Both of Kikuchi's runs allowed came via solo homers, with one coming on a third-inning shot by Javier Baez and another on a fourth-inning blast by Gleyber Torres. It was still an encouraging bounce-back effort overall by the left-hander, who yielded a lone walk after lending a whopping 18 free passes over 25.1 frames in April. Kikuchi will look to further improve his 4.21 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 33:19 K:BB across 36.1 frames in a tough matchup next week versus the Blue Jays, who entered Wednesday with a .758 OPS against left-handed pitching this season.

Mize (5-1) earned the win Thursday against the Angels after allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks in seven innings. He struck out four.

Although he tied a season high with four runs and two homers allowed, Mize hurled seven innings Thursday for the second time this season. The long ball has been an issue for the right-hander over his last four starts, during which he's been taken deep six times over 25 innings. Despite those shortcomings, Mize has maintained a strong 2.70 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 27:9 K:BB across 36.2 frames in 2025, but he's next slated for a tough assignment at hitter-friendly Coors Field against the Rockies.

Palacios (knee) has begun jogging on a treadmill, MLB.com reports.

Palacios has been sidelined since April 18 and is expected to be out until at least late May. While he's not close to a return, his recovery from a sprained right knee appears to be on track.

Diaz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday against the Royals.

Diaz got the Rays off to a quick start, as he delivered his fourth home run of the season in the first inning. He continues to get on track at the plate after a slow start to the year, as he's gone 15-for-44 with only four strikeouts across his last 11 games.

Vaughn went 1-for-3 with a run scored Thursday against the Brewers.

Vaughn recorded a single in the sixth inning to extend his hitting streak to a modest four games. However, the good news ends there, as he is still hitting only .167 with a career-worst 23.1 percent strikeout rate. Vaughn also has only one extra-base hit in his last nine games, causing his ISO to dip to .105 across 121 plate appearances on the campaign.

Meidroth went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs scored Thursday against the Brewers.

Meidroth was in the lineup for the first time since April 20 after being forced to the injured list due to a thumb injury. He immediately slotted into the leadoff role and began the first frame with a double before coming around to score. Meidroth has split time between second base and shortstop since being promoted April 11, but he should have a near everyday role.

Garcia secured the save after throwing a clean ninth inning in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Closer Jeff Hoffman tossed two innings in Wednesday's win over Boston, so it was Garcia who got the call to preserve the victory. Nine of the right-hander's 12 pitches landed for strikes, making it a fairly easy second save of the year Thursday. Garcia extended his scoreless streak to 14 innings to go with an 18:4 K:BB to open the season, and he'll remain a candidate for the occasional save opportunity in the event that Hoffman is unavailable.

Guerrero went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Thursday's win over the Red Sox.

Guerrero played the role of hero Thursday, crushing a go-ahead three-run jack in the eighth inning to power Toronto to victory. The All-Star first baseman has now logged a hit in six of his last seven games, and he entered Thursday with an elite 54.4 percent hard-hit rate in 2025. While Guerrero is batting a middling .255 (12-for-47) over his last 13 games, he's supplied power with four home runs, two doubles and nine RBI during that stretch.

Woods Richardson did not factor into the decision Thursday against the Guardians, allowing two runs on two hits and five walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

The five walks marked a season-high for Woods Richardson, though he managed to hold Cleveland to a lone first-inning run before Jhonkensy Noel tacked on a solo homer in the fourth. Overall, Woods Richardson is 2-2 on the season with a 4.03 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 30:11 K:BB across 29 innings. The 24-year-old right-hander is currently lined up for a home matchup with the Orioles in his next start.
