Seager was not in Friday's lineup to rest his injured right hamstring, Steve Kornacki of MLB.com reports.

Seager was held out of games Thursday and Friday without a reason given. It's unclear if Seager aggravated his previous hamstring injury, or if the Rangers are being extra cautious with the shortstop, who was activated off the injured list a week ago. Josh Smith filled in at shortstop while Seager rested his hamstring.

Martinez went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, two RBI and an additional run scored in Friday's 6-0 win over Philadelphia.

Martinez rapped a two-run home run in the fifth and then scored another run after a seventh-inning double. It was his first homer. The two extra-base hits were out of the norm of Martinez, who entered Friday with a .288 slugging percentage over his previous 20 games. He maintains a .325 average -- fueled by some luck -- but hasn't hit for much pop (.121 ISO).

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-0 win over the Phillies.

Ramirez finished off the scoring with his homer in the seventh inning. It was his first long ball in 15 games and sixth of the season. It didn't take long for Ramirez to shake off the ankle injury that forced him to miss one game. In the five games since, he's 6-for-20 with a home run, two doubles and three RBI.

Gilbert (elbow) could throw off a mound by the end of Seattle's current six-game homestand that extends until Wednesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Gilbert played catch prior to Friday's series opener against the Blue Jays, and it sounds like he's inching toward taking the next step in his throwing progression. The right-hander is recovering from a mild right flexor strain, and Kramer notes it's possible that Gilbert won't need as many rehab starts as teammate George Kirby (shoulder), who is expected to make three appearances in the minors before rejoining Seattle's rotation. However, Gilbert still has some hurdles to clear before reaching that checkpoint, so it remains difficult to gauge whether he'll be able to return before the end of the month.

Kirby (shoulder) is scheduled to make another minor-league rehab start for Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Kirby threw 42 pitches in his first rehab outing last Sunday, and he's in line to build up to around 60 pitches in his second appearance Saturday. The right-hander is working his way back from right shoulder inflammation, and Kirby is also expected to make a third start before rejoining Seattle's rotation. That gives him a chance to make his season debut before the end of May, barring any setbacks along the way.

Jansen allowed one hit in a scoreless two-thirds of an inning during Friday's 4-1 loss to the Orioles. He did not record a strikeout or a walk.

Jansen entered in the top of the ninth with the Angels facing a three-run deficit and got some work in after battling an illness earlier this week. This was his first appearance since May 3. With his ailment seemingly in the rearview mirror, Jansen should soon add to his total of 454 career saves (fourth all time).

Escarra went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the Athletics.

The steal was Escarra's first in the big leagues. The catcher has two multi-hit efforts over his last five games dating back to April 27. He won't see all that much playing time with two other catchers (Austin Wells and Ben Rice) on the Yankees' roster, though Rice rarely catches. Escarra is batting .212 with a home run, four RBI, three runs scored and a steal over 40 plate appearances this season.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the Athletics.

Goldschmidt opened the scoring with a solo shot in the third inning. The first baseman has three homers over his last eight games, going 8-for-29 (.276) in that span. He's enjoying a resurgent campaign in his first year with the Yankees and is now up to four homers, 18 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases while maintaining a .345/.397/.486 slash line over 38 contests.

Dominguez went 3-for-4 with three home runs and seven RBI in Friday's 10-2 win over the Athletics.

It was a career-best game for the talented youngster, who came into this contest with just two homers on the year. Dominguez went back-to-back with Paul Goldschmidt in the third inning, added a sacrifice fly in the fifth, hit another solo shot in the seventh and then launched a grand slam in the eighth. Trent Grisham's strong play lately has cost Dominguez some playing time, but the Yankees won't have Dominguez sitting for too long. He's now batting .250 with an .802 OPS, five homers, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and three stolen bases over 32 games this season.

Warren (2-2) allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over 7.1 innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Friday.

This was the best outing of Warren's young career, as he kept the Athletics at bay throughout. He threw 59 of 87 pitches for strikes and racked up 13 whiffs. The 25-year-old's strong outing lowered his ERA to 4.75 with a 1.36 WHIP and 41:16 K:BB across 36 innings over eight starts. He'll need to string together a few strong performances to earn more widespread fantasy interest, but this could be the beginning of him putting everything together. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at Seattle.
