The 25-year-old made three straight starts Wednesday through Friday while the Rays faced off against left-handed pitchers, but he'll be on the bench Sunday for the second day in a row against Chad Patrick. Morel appears to have fallen into a short-side platoon role, and his chances of regaining steady playing time don't appear to be strong with the Rays expected to get Josh Lowe (oblique) back from the injured list during the upcoming week.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Seager is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Detroit after his right hamstring tightened up on a swing Saturday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

The shortstop had missed two straight games due to an injury to the same hamstring before returning to the lineup Saturday. Seager came up big in his return with two home runs and a double over four at-bats, but Ezequiel Duran came off the bench to replace him late in the contest. Seager is set to be evaluated Monday when the Rangers return home, but his availability for the start of a series versus the Rockies would seem to be in peril.

Peraza went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Athletics.

Peraza started at third base and belted a two-run shot to left field in the sixth inning to give the Yankees a short-lived lead. He moved over to second base in the sixth frame and was then pinch hit for in the eighth despite the earlier long ball. Peraza hasn't been able to do much in his limited playing time this season, slashing .205/.271/.386 with two homers and seven RBI over 48 plate appearances. Saturday marked his lone start in the Yankees' past four games.

Altuve (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Altuve exited Saturday's contest due to hamstring tightness and will be out of the starting nine for at least one game. According to Brian McTaggart of MLB.com, Altuve is still experiencing some tightness but "feels better," so he could rejoin the lineup within the next couple of days. Zach Dezenzo is manning lefty field Sunday, while Cam Smith picks up a start in right.

Seager is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Seager missed two straight games due to a right hamstring injury before returning to action in impressive fashion Saturday, when he went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double, three RBI and an additional run to help lead the Rangers to a 10-3 victory. The Rangers haven't indicated that Seager experienced any setbacks with his hamstring coming out of Saturday's contest, so his absence Sunday could be a pre-planned maintenance day.

Correa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

The Twins' initial lineup included Correa, but the team has elected to give the 30-year-old his first day off since April 16 instead. With Correa on the bench, Brooks Lee will slide over to shortstop and Kody Clemens will enter the lineup at second base.

Rafaela went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple and two runs scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over Kansas City.

Rafaela has hit safely in four straight games and six of the last seven, going 10-for-25 (.400) with five extra-base hits and five runs scored. Rafaela has shown sporadic signs that he's about to break out of a season-opening funk, and this most recent stretch has bumped his batting average to a season-high .246.

Sogard started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Royals.

Sogard was summoned from Triple-A Worcester earlier in the day and was added to the starting nine after Romy Gonzalez (back), who had been serving as the primary first baseman in the absence of Triston Casas (knee), was placed on the 10-day injured list. Sogard is a utility infielder with experience at second base, shortstop and third base, but he'll expand his resume to include first base while working in a timeshare with Abraham Toro.
