Blanco (3-3) allowed two hits and a walk over eight shutout innings Sunday, striking out 11 and earning a win over the Reds.

Blanco was nearly untouchable in his dominant outing Sunday. He retired the first nine batters he faced and did not allow a runner to reach third base. It was his first career double-digit strikeout performance and his longest start since throwing a no-hitter April 1, 2024. Blanco threw 65 of 101 pitches for strikes and generated 16 whiffs, including nine with the slider. He dropped his ERA to 4.04 with a 43:17 K:BB through 42.1 innings. Blanco is currently lined up for a road start against the Rangers next weekend.

Burkes did not factor in the decision during Sunday's win over Miami. He allowed a run on four hits and five walks over four innings while striking out two.

Burke didn't give up a run until the fourth inning but he was not efficient enough to pitch into the fifth frame. He threw just 49 of 91 pitches for strikes while issuing a season-high five free passes. Burke did not walk a batter through 10.1 innings in his first two starts of the season but has since posted an unsightly 25:22 K:BB over his last seven appearances. He'll carry a 4.15 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be a road matchup with the Cubs next weekend.

Booser threw a perfect ninth inning to earn a save against Miami on Sunday.

Booser needed only six pitches (five strikes) to retire the Marlins' 8-9-1 hitters in Sunday's win. It was his first save of the season after picking up his first win of the year Friday against Miami. He now owns a 4.80 ERA with a 15:8 K:B across 15 innings. Two of Booser's last three appearances have been save opportunities, and the White Sox's closer role still appears to be very fluid.

Elko went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win against the Marlins.

Elko went 0-for-3 in his MLB debut Saturday before picking up his first career hit Sunday. His three-run shot off Sandy Alcantara in the sixth inning proved to be the game-winner. Elko served as the designated hitter Sunday after playing first base in his debut. With Andrew Vaughn continuing to struggle (.554 OPS through 160 plate appearances), Elko should continue seeing regular playing time.

McFarland exited Sunday's 12-2 loss to the Yankees in the top of the eighth inning due to a left groin injury, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

McFarland suffered the groin injury while covering first base on a groundout by Austin Wells. Wells was the only batter McFarland faced before exiting the contest. The Athletics are likely to send McFarland in for more tests Monday before determining whether his groin issue is significant enough to force him to the injured list.

Walters (undisclosed) was reinstated from Triple-A Columbus' 7-day injured list and returned to action Saturday, walking one batter over a scoreless inning of relief.

Walters hadn't pitched for Louisville since April 16 due to an unspecified injury but was cleared to rejoin the Guardians' top affiliate without requiring a rehab assignment beforehand. The righty reliever spotted 13 of his 18 pitches for strikes in the appearance and averaged 96.9 miles per hour with his fastball.

Kirk (head) exited Sunday's contest against the Mariners in the top of the fifth inning, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Kirk suffered a blow to the helmet on a backswing from Julio Rodriguez in bottom of the third inning. The catcher remained in the contest for another full inning before exiting, likely due to precautionary reasons. Tyler Heineman replaced him behind the plate versus Seattle.

Kittredge (knee) tossed one scoreless inning, allowing two hits while striking out a batter in Triple-A Norfolk's loss against Nashville on Sunday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Kittredge threw all nine of his pitches for strikes in the inning, completing his second appearance out of the bullpen with Norfolk on his rehab assignment. The relief pitcher has missed the entirety of the 2025 campaign while on the 15-day injured list after he underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in early March. Kittredge appears to be on the cusp of an activation and may require just one more outing in Triple-A before potentially joining the Orioles' roster.

Manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that Stroman (knee) has been experiencing some discomfort after throwing a simulated game Friday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

The right-hander is working his way back from inflammation in his left knee and appeared to be closing in on the start of a rehab assignment, but the renewed discomfort will pause his progress for at least a few days. Stroman received a cortisone injection for his knee shortly after landing on the injured list April 12, and it's concerning that he's still having some issues a month later.

Lukes will start in right field and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Lukes will pick up his fourth straight start in the outfield and seems to be the primary beneficiary of second baseman Andres Gimenez's (quadriceps) recent move to the injured list. Since Gimenez landed on the IL, Ernie Clement has taken over as the Blue Jays' primary second baseman, and Addison Barger has moved to third base to open up a spot in the outfield for Lukes.
