Garcia earned the save in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Rays, striking out one batter without allowing a hit or walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

After Jeff Hoffman got roughed up for five runs in Tuesday's 11-9 loss, Garcia was brought in for the ninth inning Wednesday to protect the Blue Jays' two-run lead. Garcia started out strongly by striking out Jose Caballero and needed just seven pitches (six strikes) to capture his third save of the season. Garcia's 3.71 ERA through 17 innings is inflated by the seven runs he gave up across two outings May 3 and 6; he's otherwise yielded no earned runs in his other 16 appearances.

Kirk went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Rays.

Kirk was removed from Sunday's win over the Mariners after being hit in the head on a Julio Rodriguez backswing, but the catcher passed the league's concussion protocols and was cleared to return Wednesday. Kirk's return turned out to be the difference as he supplied the Jays' run total with a three-run blast in the sixth inning. It was his third home run of the season, and the 26-year-old catcher is slashing .293/.318/.398 with 16 RBI in 129 plate appearances.

Garcia went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 8-3 win over Colorado.

Wednesday marked the 10th multi-hit game of the season by Garcia, who notched his sixth home run of the campaign as well. The veteran outfielder has hit in the cleanup spot in six of Texas' last seven games, but he's batting a mere .185 with two doubles and four RBI during this span. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Garcia, who entered Wednesday with an elite 15.7 percent barrel rate on the season.

Bassitt did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's game against Tampa Bay, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks while striking out six over 5.2 innings.

Bassitt entered Wednesday's game having yielded three earned runs or more in each of his last four outings. He allowed at least two baserunners in three of the first four innings, but he was able to limit the damage to a single run. Bassitt has a 3.16 ERA and 1.27 WHIP across 51.1 innings this season, and his 55 strikeouts is eighth most in the American League. He also boasts a 4.1 percent walk rate, which is in the 93rd percentile in the majors. Bassitt is slated to face the Padres at home next week.

Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to Houston.

It was the 14th multi-hit effort of the season by Garcia, who tallied multiple extra-base hits Wednesday for just the second time this year. The utility man had gone just 1-for-20 in his previous five outings, so it was a strong bounce-back performance as well. Garcia is still trending up overall, as he's batting .323 with three homers, five doubles, nine RBI and seven stolen bases over his last 65 at-bats.

Pepiot (2-5) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven across six innings.

Pepiot managed to keep the Blue Jays off the board through the first five innings, but he gave up a three-run homer to Alejandro Kirk in the sixth and was unable to get enough run support from the Rays' hitters to avoid the loss. Pepiot has logged a quality start in four of his last five appearances but has taken the loss in three of those outings. The 27-year-old right-hander has a 3.47 ERA and 1.26 WHIP across 49.1 innings this season and is lined up to face the Astros at home next week.

Hader picked up the save in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Royals after allowing one walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out one.

Hader has now posted 14 scoreless outings out of 16 appearances in 2025. The All-Star left-hander has converted each of his 10 save opportunities, producing a 1.50 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 26:5 K:BB over 18 innings. Hader is locked in as Houston's closer.

Chapman (2-2) took the loss against the Tigers on Wednesday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter in two-thirds of an inning.

Chapman was brought in for the ninth inning tasked with keeping the game tied at 5-5. He was able to retire the next two batters after issuing a walk to Andy Ibanez, but Chapman was unable to send the game into extra innings after Justyn-Henry Malloy walked off the Red Sox with a pinch-hit RBI single. Chapman remains a perfect 6-for-6 in save chances but has been scored upon in three of his past eight outings. The veteran left-hander is up to a 2.25 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 16 innings and should continue to split closing work with Justin Slaten.

Bregman went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to Detroit.

Bregman -- who entered Wednesday's contest 1-for-11 with four strikeouts in his three prior games -- gave the Red Sox a 2-1 lead in the fourth inning, when he took Tarik Skubal deep to left-center field for a solo home run. Bregman has hit a home run in consecutive games and is up to 11 on the year, which is tied with Wilyer Abreu for most on the Red Sox and fourth-most in the American League. Bregman has a .981 OPS through 199 plate appearances this season, which is his highest since the 2019 season with the Astros (1.015).

Dobbins did not factor into the decision in Wednesday's game against Detroit, allowing five runs on nine hits while striking out four across five innings. He did not issue a walk.

Dobbins was able to limit the Tigers to two runs over the first five frames. He was brought back for the sixth inning, but he was unable to record an out and was tagged for three more runs, highlighted by a two-run homer by Riley Greene. It was the most runs Dobbins has given up in a start this season, and his efforts Wednesday brought his ERA and WHIP up to 3.90 and 1.30, respectively, over 27.2 innings. It looked to have been his last run in the Red Sox's rotation due to the impending return of Walker Buehler (shoulder) next week, but Tanner Houck (forearm) was placed on the 15-day injured list Wednesday, which prompted Boston to recall Cooper Criswell from Triple-A Worcester. It remains to be seen whether Dobbins or Criswell will serve in the Red Sox's rotation while Houck is on the shelf.
