The Angels reinstated Bachman (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

Bachman started the season on the IL while he recovered from thoracic outlet syndrome, which prevented him from pitching in any Cactus League games during spring training. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Inland Empire, with whom he made two one-inning appearances before heading to Triple-A. He's since made three one-inning relief appearances for Salt Lake and looks poised to remain in the Triple-A bullpen after he had been previously been utilized as a starter in the minors since the Angels selected him in the first round of the 2021 First-Year Player Draft.

Sosa is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.

Sosa finds himself on the bench for the White Sox's third straight matchup versus a right-handed starting pitcher (Luis Castillo) and looks to have moved into more a part-time role while Josh Rojas has settled in as the team's primary second baseman. The White Sox will have a regular spot in the lineup available for Sosa when the team faces left-handed pitching, but the lack of a consistent role against righties significantly limits his fantasy appeal.

India (knee) is serving as the designated hitter and batting out of the leadoff spot against the Giants on Monday.

India was scratched from Sunday's game against the Cardinals due to knee soreness. He won't take the field Monday, but he'll return to the lineup as the Royals' designated hitter while Mark Canha, Kyle Isbel and Hunter Renfroe man the outfield. India has slashed .274/.338/.387 with one home run and seven RBI since the beginning of May.

Kelly (glute) will begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League on Tuesday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Kelly is ready to pitch in games again after missing more than a month of action with a glute strain. He is expected to rejoin the Tampa Bay bullpen before the end of the month.

Quero is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mariners.

He'll receive a breather after he started in each of the White Sox's last three games, with both of the last two coming behind the dish. Matt Thaiss will handle catching duties for Chicago in the series opener.

Mangum (groin) will begin a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League on Tuesday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Mangum's progress from a left groin strain has been slow, but he seems to have turned a corner recently. He could move up to Triple-A Durham later this week, with a return from the 10-day injured list coming not long after that if all goes well. Mangum was slashing .338/.384/.397 before getting hurt, but with Josh Lowe back in the fold and Chandler Simpson up with the big club, it's unclear what role awaits Mangum in Tampa Bay.

Mastrobuoni is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Mastrobuoni had started in each of the last four games at three different positions (second base, third base and right field), but he went just 1-for-11 with four strikeouts during that stretch. He'll be back on the bench Monday and should continue to serve as a utility player for Seattle, with his ability to play multiple outfield and infield spots enabling him to make a handful of starts per week.

Dezenzo is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Dezenzo will hit the bench for the second time in three games while he's fallen into a bit of a rough patch at the plate. Over his last 10 contests, Dezenzo has slashed .188/.333/.281 with a 35.9 percent strikeout rate. Chas McCormick will cover left field Monday in Dezenzo's stead.

Benintendi (calf) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday, Jack Ankony of SI.com reports.

Benintendi landed on the 10-day injured list May 7 due to a left calf strain, but the veteran outfielder has progressed enough in his recovery to start a rehab assignment. Benintendi could be back in the majors in late May depending on how well his rehab in Triple-A goes.

Astros manager Joe Espada said that Whitley (knee) is "a possibility" to be activated from the 15-day injured list during the team's three-game series with the Rays that begins Monday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Whitley has made just one appearance with the Astros this season due to a pair of knee injuries, but he looked sharp in two recent rehab appearances with Triple-A Sugar Land, tossing two perfect innings with four strikeouts. Upon activation, the former top prospect is likely to be used in low-leverage relief spots initially.
