Leiter did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and five walks over five innings in a 10-5 loss to the White Sox. He struck out three.

Leiter surrendered only two runs -- both coming on a Joshua Palacios two-run homer -- but struggled mightily with his control. The 25-year-old issued a season-high five walks and threw just 52 of 94 pitches for strikes. On the year, the right-hander has a 4.17 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and a 30:21 K:BB over eight starts spanning 41 innings.

Rays manager Kevin Cash said Saturday that DeLuca (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Monday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

DeLuca has been on the 10-day injured list since early April due to a right shoulder strain. He suffered a minor setback in late April, but he began a rehab assignment in the Florida Complex League on Saturday and will make the trip to Durham on Monday with shortstop Ha-Seong Kim. DeLuca went 10-for-23 (.435) with four steals, four runs and one RBI for the Rays prior to his shoulder injury.

Kim has been participating in on-field drills and batting out of the cage, and he is ready to take the next step in his recovery by embarking on a rehab assignment. The 29-year-old shortstop suffered a right shoulder injury last August, which was severe enough for him to miss the rest of the 2024 season and undergo surgery in October. How Kim's shoulder reacts to a larger workload will dictate when he'll return to the majors to make his 2025 debut.

Valdez (4-4) earned the win against the Mariners on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and four walks with five strikeouts over six innings.

Valdez battled through command issues, tying a season high with four walks while generating just seven whiffs on 101 pitches. Despite the lack of swing-and-miss stuff, the southpaw extended his streak to four straight quality starts and has allowed three earned runs or fewer in eight of 11 outings this season. He'll carry a 3.39 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 64:23 K:BB across 69 innings into a home matchup with the Rays next weekend.

Pederson fractured his right hand during Saturday's 10-5 loss to the White Sox and said after the game that he expects to be out for around six weeks, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Pederson suffered the injury when he has hit by a Bryse Wilson pitch in the fourth inning. He initially stayed in the game and came around to score three batters later, but he was replaced by Kyle Higashioka in the fifth. The injury is an unfortunate setback for Pederson, who had shown improved production at the plate in recent weeks after getting off to an ugly start to the season. He's still batting just .131 with two home runs over 145 plate appearances, though he had gotten on base at a .269 clip thanks in large part to his strong 14.1 percent walk rate.

Woo (5-2) took the loss against the Astros on Saturday, allowing two unearned runs on nine hits and no walks while striking out five over six innings.

Woo allowed two unearned runs in the first inning, one stemming from his own error, but bounced back with five scoreless frames. The 25-year-old has now gone three straight starts without issuing a walk and has delivered quality starts in eight of 10 outings this season. He'll take a 2.40 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 60:8 K:BB across 63.2 innings into a home matchup with the Twins next weekend.

The Angels recalled Dana from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Dana has spent most of the season in Triple-A, where he has a 3-4 record across eight starts with a 5.21 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 41:16 K:BB across 38 innings. He made an appearance out of the Angels' bullpen against the Guardians on April 4, when he allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two across three innings. The Angels designated Shaun Anderson for assignment in order to make room on the 26-man roster for Dana, who is expected to serve in a long-relief role, per Sam Blum of The Athletic.

Hader earned the save in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Mariners, allowing one hit while striking out three in a scoreless ninth inning.

Hader worked around a single while throwing 13 of 17 pitches for strikes. The southpaw has now allowed just one run across eight appearances in May and has delivered scoreless outings in 18 of 21 games this season. He's a perfect 13-for-13 in save chances, sporting a 1.57 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 32:5 K:BB across 23 innings.

Clemens went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Royals.

The 29-year-old took Michael Wacha deep to lead off the bottom of the sixth inning and chase the righty from the game. Clemens has hit safely in each of his last six games and has an extra-base hit in five straight, and since May 11 he's batting .406 (13-for-32) with four doubles, a triple, three homers, six runs and nine RBI in 10 contests. The Twins' infield is nearly at full strength following the return of Carlos Correa from the concussion IL on Friday, but Clemens -- who has seen action at first base, second base, and both outfield corners in 2025 -- will be hard to dislodge from his strong-side platoon role given his current form.

Butler is not in the Athletics' starting lineup against the Phillies on Saturday.

Butler will begin Saturday's game in the dugout while Tyler Soderstrom, Denzel Clarke and Miguel Andujar man the outfield. Butler is in the midst of a six-game hitting streak and has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with two steals, four doubles, one home run and five RBI over that span.
