Duran went 4-for-5 in Sunday's 5-1 loss to Baltimore.

Duran collected four singles on the day for his second four-hit game of the season and eighth of his career. The outfielder's bat has come alive the last two weeks; he's 19-for-50 (.380) with three doubles, two triples, two home runs and 12 RBI over the last 12 games.

Brubaker (ribs) made the second appearance of his rehab assignment Friday with Double-A Somerset, covering 2.2 innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and three walks. He didn't strike out a batter in the outing.

After tossing three scoreless innings in his first rehab appearance with High-A Hudson Valley on May 18, Brubaker was cleared to move up a level for his second start. Though he recorded one fewer out Friday compared to his previous outing, Brubaker pushed his pitch count up from 37 to 49. Brubaker wasn't particularly efficient, however, throwing just 26 strikes and inducing only four swings and misses. The Yankees look as though they'll let Brubaker continue to get stretched out for a starting role during his rehab assignment, but it's unclear if the big club will have a spot available for him in the rotation once he's activated from the 60-day injured list. Marcus Stroman (knee) and Gerrit Cole (lat) are further behind in their rehab programs and aren't likely to be activated until the second half of June, but Ryan Yarbrough has performed well of late as the team's No. 5 starter and may not be dislodged by Brubaker.

Narvaez batted cleanup and went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Orioles.

That's two games in a row in the cleanup spot for Narvaez, who has earned a promotion. He's hit safely in seven consecutive games and reached base in nine of the last 10, going 16-for-35 (.457) with six walks, four doubles, one home run, four RBI, one steal and six runs during that span. Sunday's stolen base was his first of the season. Narvaez has moved ahead of Connor Wong as Boston's primary catcher.

Mayer started at third base and went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 loss to Baltimore.

Mayer, who went hitless in four at-bats during his MLB debut Saturday, picked up his first hit in the majors on his first at-bat of the day. The left-handed hitter singled to the opposite field. He later pulled a double in the eighth inning and scored his first MLB run. With the Red Sox describing Alex Bregman's quadriceps injury as "significant" and "pretty severely strained," Mayer is line for regular turns at third base.

Gonzalez (quadriceps) appears to be close to beginning a rehab assignment, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Gonzalez experienced a setback last week that delayed his rehab, but manager Alex Cora said Sunday the infielder is feeling better and is awaiting word from the medical team to determine his next step. Prior to his injury, Gonzalez had been part of a rotation of players at first base, covering for the injured Triston Casas (knee). The Red Sox have been leaning on Nick Sogard and Abraham Toro at the position since Gonzalez landed on the shelf with a left quad contusion.

Fitts (pectoral) is expected to make his next rehab start for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Fitts made his first rehab start Thursday with Double-A Portland, throwing 38 pitches and completing three scoreless innings while allowing four hits with zero walks and two strikeouts. After a doubleheader this past weekend, the Red Sox don't have an existing starter on regular rest for Tuesday's game in Milwaukee, and the possibility exists that Fitts could return from the injured list to pitch in that game rather than reporting to Worcester. If so, that would likely be an abbreviated start, given Fitts' limited pitch count in his most recent outing with Portland.

Osuna started in left field and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Sunday's 5-4 win over the White Sox.

Osuna, who was called up from Triple-A Round Rock, made his MLB debut Sunday. His promotion coincided with the Rangers placing Joc Pederson (hand) on the 10-day injured list. The left-handed Osuna could eventually replace Pederson as the primary DH against right-handers once Evan Carter (quadriceps) is ready to come off the 10-day IL.

Haggerty started at designated hitter, batted leadoff and went 0-for-5 in Sunday's 5-4 win over the White Sox.

Haggerty moved from center field to DH against a right-hander, a role that had been occupied by Joc Pederson until a broken hand landed him on the 10-day injured list Sunday. Pederson is expected to miss at least six weeks, which means opportunities exist in the outfield or DH for Haggerty, who has been a regular presence in the lineup since his contract was selected earlier this month. Those opportunities may dry up once Evan Carter (quadriceps) is ready to be activated from the 10-day injured list. Haggerty is batting .233/.283/.395 with one home run, two RBI, two steals and five runs scored over 13 games.

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the White Sox.

Garcia was part of a three-run rally in the top of the ninth inning, when he delivered a two-run double to complete Texas' comeback victory. It was the second straight game with an extra-base hit for Garcia, who leads the Rangers with 27 RBI despite a season-opening slump. The hitting woes prompted manager Bruce Bochy to drop the slugger in the batting order from a cleanup slot to seventh or eighth the last four contests. Garcia is batting .213/.262/.383 over 53 games.

McDaniels (biceps) has been throwing to hitters at the Angels' complex in Arizona, per MLB.com.

McDaniels landed on the 15-day IL in early May due to left biceps tendinitis. The southpaw will likely need a minor-league rehab stint before he's ready to be activated. McDaniels could be back in the big-league bullpen sometime in June.
