Manager Bruce Bochy said after Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Cardinals that the Rangers have developed a plan for Garcia and will give the 32-year-old slugger as many days off as needed to get back in form, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Saturday marked the second game in a row in which Garcia was not in the Rangers' starting lineup. The veteran outfielder has struggled at the plate this season, and since the beginning of May he's slashed .189/.224/.333 with one steal, three home runs, 12 RBI and a 29.6 percent strikeout rate in 98 plate appearances. Sam Haggerty would likely start in right field again if Garcia is held out of Sunday's series finale.

Bautista walked two and struck out three in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 10th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the White Sox.

The right-hander had some trouble finding the plate as he pitched on back-to-back days for just the second time this season, tossing only 11 of 23 pitches for strikes, However, after putting the potential tying run aboard with one out, Bautista rallied to strike out Luis Robert and Austin Slater. Bautista has been struggling over the last few weeks, posting a 7.04 ERA, 1.96 WHIP and 10:8 K:BB over his past 7.2 innings, but he's still converted three of his four save chances during that span.

Kremer (5-5) picked up the win Saturday in a 4-2 victory over the White Sox, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out seven.

The right-hander delivered his third quality start of the season on 102 pitches (64 strikes). All three of those quality starts have come in May, as Kremer produced a 2.73 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB over 36.1 innings on the month after sitting with a 7.04 ERA at the end of April. He'll look to continue his turnaround in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend against the A's.

Tauchman went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored and an RBI in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Orioles.

The White Sox managed only eight hits in total, preventing Tauchman from producing more offense despite his strong performance from the leadoff spot. The 34-year-old has been on fire since coming off the IL in late May, going 10-for-29 (.345) with seven walks, four doubles, a homer, five RBI and eight runs in eight games.

Moncada (knee) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Guardians.

Moncada returned to the Angels' lineup Saturday after missing Friday's contest due to right knee soreness. He put the Halos on the board in the third inning with a solo home run, and he came around to score in the fifth on a Mike Trout double. Moncada will end the month of May with a .253/.329/.573 slash line with six home runs and 15 RBI in 85 plate appearances.

Martin (2-6) took the loss Saturday, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over six innings as the White Sox fell 4-2 to the Orioles. He struck out three.

Four of the five hits off Martin went for extra bases, including homers by Jackson Holliday and Jorge Mateo. The right-hander saw his quality start streak end at three, but he's giving the White Sox consistent innings of late, and Saturday's outing was the first time he's served up multiple long balls since April 17. Martin will take a 3.67 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 41:17 K:BB through 68.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next week against the Tigers.

Adell went 1-for-3 with one walk and a two-run homer in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Guardians.

Adell extended the Angels' lead to four runs in the fourth frame, when he took Slade Cecconi deep to right-center field for a two-run homer. It was Adell's seventh home run of the season, five of which came in May. He'll end the month with an .836 OPS and 10 RBI in 76 plate appearances, though he still has an underwhelming .212/.279/.397 slash line on the year.

Trout went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI double in Saturday's 7-5 loss to Cleveland.

Trout extended the Angels' lead to three runs in the fifth inning, when his double to left field brought home Yoan Moncada. It was Trout's second game back from a four-week absence due to a knee injury and his first RBI since April 25 against the Twins.

Hendricks did not factor into the decision Saturday against the Guardians, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out six across 5.2 innings.

Hendricks kept the Guardians off the board through the first three innings, but he yielded at least one run in each of the next three frames, capped off by a Steven Kwan solo home run in the sixth. Hendricks has given up at least three earned runs in eight of his last nine starts, and his 5.34 ERA across 59 innings is fourth highest in the majors among qualified starters. He's slated to make his next start against the Mariners at home next weekend.

Santana went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Angels.

Santana tied things up at 5-5 in the seventh inning when he took Ryan Zeferjahn deep to right field for a solo home run. It was Santana's seventh home run of the season, five of which came in May. He'll end the month with a .994 OPS, 18 runs scored and 22 RBI across 100 plate appearances.
