Francis (2-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out two in 1.2 innings.

The Phillies plated six runs in the first against Francis, which included back-to-back home runs from Trea Turner and Bryce Harper among the six hits they had in the inning. Francis has given up 17 home runs, the most in baseball. He's allowed seven hits or more in four starts and has allowed multiple homers five times. He'll aim to rebound on the road against Minnesota this weekend.

Chisholm went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Guardians.

In his first big-league game action since April 29, Chisholm broke a 1-1 tie by depositing a Tanner Bibee fastball into the short porch in right field at Yankee Stadium to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning. It was the eighth homer of the season in only 31 games for the 27-year-old infielder, and while Chisholm's .194 batting average is disappointing, it's due for positive regression -- his .210 BABIP is nearly 100 points below his career .303 mark.

Williams gave up a run on two hits while striking out one in the ninth inning Tuesday to record his sixth save of the season in a 3-2 win over the Guardians.

With Luke Weaver (hamstring) on the shelf, Williams is being given another crack at the closer role, but he once again struggled to get the job done. The right-hander served up a one-out double to Carlos Santana before pinch hitter Daniel Schneemann pulled a changeup into right field for an RBI single, and Williams ultimately needed 30 pitches (22 strikes) to escape the frame. He has been pitching better of late, posting a 1.80 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 15:2 K:BB over the 10 innings prior to Tuesday's appearance, but the Yankees do have options like Mark Leiter and Fernando Cruz available if Williams' April issues return.

Rodon (8-3) picked up the win in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Guardians, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out eight.

The veteran southpaw was locked in a pitchers' duel with Tanner Bibee most of the way, but back-to-back solo shots by Jazz Chisholm and Anthony Volpe to lead off the bottom of the seventh broke open a 1-1 tie. Rodon has won seven straight decisions, with his last loss coming back on April 13, and during his undefeated stretch he's rattled off seven quality starts in nine trips to the mound with a 1.27 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 70:15 K:BB in 56.2 innings. He'll look for his eighth straight win in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home this weekend against the Red Sox.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two stolen bases in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Yankees.

It's the first time since May 12 that Ramirez has pilfered multiple bags in a game. He's been scorching hot at the plate of late, rapping out multiple hits in nine of his last 12 games while slashing .449/.491/.673 with two homers, four steals, six RBI and 12 runs.

Bibee (4-6) took the loss Tuesday, giving up three runs on four hits and two walks over 6.1 innings as the Guardians fell 3-2 to the Yankees. He struck out six.

The right-hander delivered his fifth quality start of the year on a season-high 107 pitches (63 strikes), but back-to-back solo shots by Jazz Chisholm and Anthony Volpe to lead off the seventh inning broke a 1-1 tie and stuck Bibee with the loss. After failing to strike out more than five batters in any outing through mid-May, Bibee seems to have re-discovered his ability to miss bats, posting a 3.44 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 21:6 K:BB over his last three starts and 18.1 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the Astros.

Laureano (ankle) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday, MLB.com reports.

Laureano suffered a left ankle sprain back on May 20, but he's closing in on a return to Baltimore's outfield. Colton Cowser rejoined the Orioles in Tuesday's win over the Mariners, but Tyler O'Neill (shoulder) and Cedric Mullins (hamstring) are still both on the injured list. Laureano was batting .266 with six home runs, seven doubles, 11 RBI and two stolen bases over 94 at-bats before going down.

Gilbert (elbow) will make his second rehab start with Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Manager Dan Wilson said Tuesday that the Mariners will re-evaluate Gilbert following his minor-league outing. If all goes well, Wednesday's appearance could be the right-hander's last during his assignment as he works his way back from a right elbow flexor strain. Gilbert's earliest possible return to Seattle's rotation looks to be some time early next week, when the team begins a three-game series Monday against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Larnach went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Athletics.

Larnach's sixth-inning blast tied the game at 2-2, and the Twins were able to build a rally after that to take the lead for good. The 28-year-old has warmed up significantly, going 13-for-34 (.382) during his seven-game hitting streak, which includes four extra-base hits and seven RBI. He's up to nine homers, 30 RBI, 33 runs scored, two stolen bases, eight doubles and a triple while posting a .263/.328/.429 slash line over 59 contests this season.

Castro went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs and a walk in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Athletics.

Castro has been locked in at the plate lately, logging multiple hits in four of the last five games. Surprisingly, two of those have been multi-homer efforts, and he's also posted a 5:4 BB:K during his recent run of success. The utility player is up to a .261/.346/.457 slash line with six homers, 12 RBI, 25 runs scored, three stolen bases and nine doubles over 40 contests. He's halfway to matching his career-best homer total (12) from last season, so it's unlikely this power-hitting stretch will last long.
