Keith is not in the Tigers' starting lineup against the Cubs on Saturday.

Keith will begin Saturday's game in the dugout after going 1-for-3 in Friday's 3-1 win. Kerry Carpenter will serve as the designated hitter and bat third while Riley Greene, Parker Meadows and Wenceel Perez man the outfield for the Tigers.

Jones blasted a pinch-hit solo home run in Friday's 3-1 win over the Cubs.

Appearing off the bench in the eighth inning in place of Kerry Carpenter to face a lefty reliever, Jones delivered his first home run of the season in his first 2025 MLB at-bat. The outfielder, who was playing well for Triple-A Toledo, had his contract selected earlier Friday to provide some depth in the majors. Jones offers some degree of upside based on his minor-league performance, though he likely won't see enough regular playing time to make a huge impact.

Devers went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 9-6 loss to the Yankees.

Devers brought the Red Sox a bit closer with a two-run shot in the seventh inning, but that's where an attempted comeback from an early 7-0 deficit ended. For Devers, the homer was his first in 13 games and extended a hit streak to five games. He was one of the hottest hitters in MLB for much of May, but the designated hitter entered Friday's contest with a .195 average (8-for-41) over the previous 11 games. Devers has 13 home runs and 56 RBI through 65 games this season.

Mayer went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-6 loss to the Yankees.

The Red Sox were out of this game early, falling behind 7-0, but Mayer's fifth-inning homer -- a no-doubter -- sparked a rally that turned a blowout into a close game. It was Mayer's first MLB homer, which came one game after he logged is first RBI as a major leaguer.

Corbin (3-5) took the loss Friday, giving up two runs on five hits over eight innings as the Rangers fell 2-0 to the Nationals. He struck out two without walking a batter.

The veteran lefty was locked in against the team with which he won a World Series ring back in 2019, but Corbin got no run support. He tossed a complete game on 89 pitches (60 strikes). After posting an ERA north of 5.00 in four straight campaigns before leaving Washington, Corbin's having an impressive comeback in Texas, delivering a 3.52 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 43:18 K:BB over 61.1 innings. He'll look for his first win since May 14 in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Minnesota.

Garcia went 1-for-3 in Friday's 2-0 loss to the Nationals.

It was a rough night for the Rangers' offense, which managed just two hits and had one runner reach scoring position. The one positive takeaway was Garcia, who hit safely for a fourth consecutive game after taking a multi-game "mental break" amid a season-opening slump.

Noel was held out of Friday's starting lineup against Houston left-hander Colton Gordon.

Noel, who has been the short side of a platoon in right field all season, found himself on the bench Friday while the left-handed-hitting Nolan Jones started instead. Noel is batting .109 (5-for-46) over 22 games since May 1 and is at .149 for the season.

Fry is limited to designated-hitter duties while he continues a throwing program and progression, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Fry was recently activated from the 60-day injured list where he spent first two months of the regular season rehabbing from an elbow procedure he underwent last November. He's started three of the last four games and will serve as the primary DH against lefties. Fry will also get occasional starts against righties.

Sabrowski (elbow) walked one and struck out one over a hitless and scoreless inning for Double-A Akron on Friday,

Friday's rehab outing was the third for Sabrowski, who made two previous appearances for the Guardians' affiliate in the Arizona Complex League. The left-hander has walked five and struck out three in two innings while on his rehab assignment. Sabrowski's been dealing with left elbow inflammation since the start of spring training.

Benintendi went 2-for-4 with two doubles Friday against the Royals.

Benintendi hasn't homered since May 28, but he's found ways to be productive at the plate. In his last eight games, he has gone 8-for-27 with four doubles, three RBI and three runs scored. Friday's performance marked his second multi-hit effort in that span.
