Wilson (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Angels.

Wilson was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup due to left hamstring tightness and will miss a second straight start. The Athletics are off Thursday, so Wilson will hope to re-enter the lineup Friday in Kansas City. Max Schuemann will again fill in at shortstop and bat ninth.

Kurtz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Angels.

The Angels are sending right-hander Kyle Hendricks to the bump for the series finale, but the left-handed-hitting Kurtz will nonetheless bow out of the lineup for the first time since returning from the injured list Monday. He made starts at designated hitter and first base in the first two contests of the series in Anaheim, going 1-for-8 with a double.

Young is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Young will exit the lineup for the first time since getting a call-up from Triple-A Tacoma on May 31. Jorge Polanco will step in at second base in place of Young, who went 8-for-36 (.222 average) with a 1:11 BB:K, three RBI and two runs in his first 10 MLB games.

Stanton (elbows) went 2-for-3 with a walk and three RBI in a rehab appearance with Double-A Somerset on Tuesday.

Stanton's rehab appearance Tuesday marked his first game action of any sort this year, including spring training. The slugger grounded out in his first plate appearance but reached base in his remaining three trips to the plate, with one of his hits being a single that came off the bat at 111.4 mph and bounced off the outfield wall for a two-run single. Stanton is expected to play in a few more rehab games before he's ready to join the Yankees.

The Blue Jays placed Lukes on the 7-day injured list Wednesday due to a concussion.

Lukes was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Tuesday's win over the Cardinals with what was described as neck discomfort at the time, but subsequent testing has determined that he is dealing with a concussion. He'll be eligible for activation June 17, but as is the case with all players recovering from concussions, the return timeline can be volatile.

The Blue Jays selected Robertson's contract from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday.

The left-handed-hitting Robertson will receive his first big-league promotion after breaking through with a .288/.408/.583 batting line and 12 home runs in 52 games this season with Buffalo. The 27-year-old is capable of handling all three outfield spots, and with Anthony Santander (shoulder), Daulton Varsho (hamstring) and Nathan Lukes (concussion) all on the shelf, he could see some starts versus righties.

Lauer will start Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, though Spencer Turnbull is expected to work behind him as a bulk reliever, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Manager John Schneider said Monday that Turnbull is set to handle a multi-inning role out of the bullpen for Toronto after being recalled from Triple-A Buffalo, and Wednesday's contest represents a good opportunity for the Blue Jays to break him in for some extended work. Lauer has been the Blue Jays' nominal No. 5 starter since late April, making two starts and five bulk-relief appearances among his eight outings. The southpaw hasn't covered more than 4.2 innings in any of those appearances, and the Blue Jays are likely to continue to keep his workload in check to optimize his performance. Since Lauer is unlikely to reach five innings Wednesday, Turnbull is the more likely of the two pitchers to factor into the decision.

Cantillo is slated to rejoin the Triple-A Columbus rotation this weekend after being slowed by left elbow soreness, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Cantillo didn't throw for a few days after feeling discomfort during a bullpen session, but he's been cleared for mound work and will make a start this weekend, barring a setback. The left-hander made 21 relief appearances for the Guardians earlier this season but was sent down in late May to get stretched back out as a starter.

Gimenez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

The left-handed-hitting Gimenez will hit the bench Wednesday as the Blue Jays stock up on some extra right-handed bats to counter Cardinals southpaw Matthew Liberatore. Davis Schneider will step in for Gimenez at the keystone.

Lukes (neck) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

Lukes was scratched from the starting nine ahead of Tuesday's 10-9 win due to neck discomfort, and he'll remain on the bench for the series finale. The Blue Jays haven't indicated whether the left-handed-hitting Lukes' absence has more to do with the neck injury, or because the Cardinals are sending a left-hander (Matthew Liberatore) to the hill. Regardless, Toronto will roll out an outfield of Jonatan Clase, Myles Straw and George Springer from left to right Wednesday.
