Hendricks (4-6) earned the win Wednesday over the A's, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Hendricks did a good job limiting the damage Wednesday despite allowing four extra-base hits. The Angels' offense broke out for six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, lining up the veteran right-hander for his second straight win. He's covered at least five frames in each of his past eight starts and has a 4.50 ERA and 1.29 WHIP during that span. Hendricks sports a 5.20 ERA through 13 starts (71 innings) this season with a 1.32 WHIP and 44:21 K:BB. He's currently lined up to face the Yankees on the road in his next outing.

Rooker went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double, three total RBI and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Angels.

Rooker extended the A's lead to 2-0 in the third inning with a 412-foot solo shot off Kyle Hendricks before blasting a two-run shot off Ryan Zeferjahn in the seventh. The 30-year-old Rooker had gone 10 games without a home run coming into Wednesday's contest, though he still went 22-for-59 (.373) with a 1.075 OPS in his last 15 games. Overall, Rooker's slashing .276/.342/.498 with 15 homers, 41 RBI and 44 runs scored through 307 plate appearances this season.

Weaver (hamstring) threw a bullpen session Wednesday and said afterward that he felt "great," Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

The right-hander received a platelet-rich-plasma injection for the hamstring strain shortly after landing on the injured list June 3, and Wednesday marked the second bullpen session of his rehab program. Weaver was given an initial recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks, and a return at the start of that window seems plausible given his current trajectory.

Guerrero went 2-for-5 with one RBI, one run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals.

Guerrero scored in the third inning before adding an RBI single and a stolen base in the fourth. While the 26-year-old hasn't homered since May 29, he's remained productive with four multi-hit efforts, five RBI, nine runs scored and his only two steals this season in the 11 games since. On the year, he's slashing .278/.380/.421 with eight homers, 30 RBI and 41 runs scored across 297 plate appearances.

Jobe (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Jobe landed on the 15-day injured list at the end of May due to a right flexor strain, though further evaluation determined that he's dealing with damage to his UCL and will require surgery. This means his 2025 season is finished after posting a 4.22 ERA and 1.49 WHIP across 49 innings (10 starts), and the timing of the operation will likely cause him to miss most, if not all, of the 2026 campaign.

Rodriguez earned the save in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Cardinals, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

With Jeff Hoffman unavailable after pitching on back-to-back days, Rodriguez was called upon for the save in the ninth and needed just 10 pitches to close out the win. The 28-year-old has been a steady presence in the Blue Jays' bullpen this season, posting a 2.97 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, and 32:11 K:BB across 33.1 innings.

Bradford (elbow) threw 22 pitches during Wednesday's bullpen session, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Rangers manager Bruce Bochy told reporters that Bradford looked good during his session, and the aim is for the southpaw to be stretched out to five innings by July 4. Bradford started the season on the injured list after being diagnosed with a left elbow sprain in mid-March. He'll need to toss multiple bullpen sessions without setbacks before embarking on a rehab assignment, during which time the Rangers would have a better idea of a timeline for Bradford's return.

Vargas recorded two outs without allowing a baserunner in Wednesday's 5-2 defeat to the Diamondbacks. He struck out one.

After giving up four runs in Monday's loss to Arizona, Vargas was able to rebound with his second scoreless outing among four appearances in June so far. The 25-year-old right-hander has worked as one of Seattle's high-leverage arms in 2025, as he has eight holds through 32.1 innings. However, Vargas has gone just 1-for-4 in save opportunities to go along with a shaky 1.55 WHIP this year.

Montgomery will start at shortstop and bat second for Triple-A Charlotte in Wednesday's game against Durham after having not played since last Thursday due to a hand injury, Dylan Barnas of FutureSox.com reports.

Montgomery has had some unfortunate luck on the injury front lately, but he's been able to avoid extended absences. After getting hit on the knee by a pitch in a May 30 game, Montgomery missed a few days before returning to the lineup June 4, only to get hit on the hand by another pitch in his second game back in action. The shortstop prospect needed just under a week off to heal up from the hand injury, and he should be ready to handle an everyday role for Charlotte moving forward. He's slashing .197/.287/.382 with seven home runs and two stolen bases over 171 plate appearances on the season for the Triple-A club.

Meidroth is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros.

Meidroth will get a chance to catch his breath after logging a hit in seven of his last nine games, during which he went 12-for-33 with four RBI and four runs scored. Vinny Capra will take his place at shortstop Wednesday and bat ninth.
