Festa didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Reds, allowing four runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 3.2 innings.

Festa joined the Minnesota rotation in early June after Pablo Lopez (shoulder) was placed on the injured list. Festa has failed to complete four innings in two of three starts since and has allowed 12 earned runs with a 14:7 K:BB spanning 13.1 innings. In six starts this season, he has a 4.78 ERA in 26.1 innings. He's scheduled to make another turn in the rotation Sunday against Milwaukee.

The Yankees optioned Effross to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

Effross pitched a scoreless inning during Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Angels in his first appearance for the Yankees since being recalled from Triple-A last week. He owns a 9.90 ERA in 10 innings over three minor-league levels this season, however, so there's still plenty of work to be done before he begins drawing consideration for a more permanent spot in New York's bullpen.

Warren (4-4) yielded three runs on six hits over six innings Tuesday, striking out 11 and taking a loss against the Angels. He did not issue a walk.

Warren turned in an impressive quality start but was tagged with the loss as the Yankees were shut out for a third straight game. He gave up a run in the second inning and two more in the third on a Taylor Ward single. Warren set a new career best with 11 punchouts and has racked up double-digit strikeouts twice in his last six outings. He tossed 70 of 93 pitches for strikes and forced 14 whiffs, including eight with his fastball. Warren owns a 4.83 ERA with an impressive 90:29 K:BB through 69 innings this season. He's currently in line to face the Orioles this weekend.

Hendricks (5-6) allowed four hits and a walk over six shutout innings Tuesday, striking out nine and earning a win over the Yankees.

Hendricks was dominant Tuesday and turned in his longest scoreless performance of the year. Only two Yankees reached scoring position against him, including Cody Bellinger on a first-inning double. Hendricks tossed 70 of 98 pitches for strikes and generated a season-high 13 whiffs. Prior to Tuesday, his season best in strikeouts was only six. The veteran righty now owns a 4.79 ERA with a 53:22 K:BB across 77 frames. Hendricks is lined up to face the Astros at home this weekend.

Greene went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Pirates.

Greene was one of three Tigers to go deep, as he launched his 15th home run of the season with a runner on in the seventh inning. The outfielder had a career-high 24 long balls in 137 regular-season games last year, and he could surpass that figure in 2025 if he stays healthy. Greene remains a strong fantasy asset in a Detroit lineup that has been clicking since Opening Day.

Perez went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Pirates.

Perez went deep for the second straight game, and he now has five home runs in just 18 contests total for the season. By comparison, the outfielder had nine long balls in 112 regular-season games last year. At his current pace, Perez will easily set a new career high in homers if he's able to stay healthy. He is also sporting a robust 1.057 OPS, giving the 25-year-old plenty of fantasy appeal at the moment.

Baez went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 7-3 win over the Pirates.

Baez continued his bounce-back campaign as he recorded his second multi-homer game of the season and first since May 13. The veteran now has nine long balls this year to go with a strong .798 OPS. By comparison, Baez had only six home runs during the 2024 regular season, and he finished with a career-worst .515 OPS. The 32-year-old might not be as electric as he was during his time with the Cubs when he first broke into the majors, but he has still recouped plenty of fantasy value so far in 2025.

Straw was removed from Tuesday's game versus Arizona due to a sprained right ankle.

Straw entered the game in the fifth inning to replace Jonatan Clase (knee), but Straw was forced out of the game almost immediately after crashing into the wall later in the frame. The severity of his injury remains unknown.

Jeffers exited Tuesday's contest against the Reds in the top of the fifth inning with a hand/arm injury, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Jeffers took a ball off his hand/arm while behind the plate in the bottom of the fourth inning and was ultimately forced to leave the game before his at-bat in the top of the fifth. Christian Vazquez replaced him at catcher in the contest, and more information on the status of Jeffers will likely be provided in the near future.

Clase was removed from Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks due to a right knee contusion.

Clase took a 93-mph sinker off his knee in the fourth inning of Tuesday's contest and was replaced on defense for the start of the fifth. The fact that he was able to run for himself is a positive sign that he avoided a serious injury, though he may still need a day or two off to recover.
