Lee is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cubs.

Lee will grab a seat Wednesday after starting both of the previous two contests at second base for the Twins. Willi Castro will receive the start at the keystone and will bat second.

Clemens is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cubs.

The left-handed-hitting Clemens had garnered the last two starts at first base against right-handed pitching, but he will begin Wednesday's contest on the bench as the Cubs send righty Cade Horton to the bump. Ty France will start at first base and will bat eighth for the Twins.

Dingler is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Rays.

Dingler had started at catcher in each of the Tigers' previous three games, so he'll be given some rest Wednesday. Jake Rogers will fill in behind the dish and bat ninth as Detroit goes for the sweep.

Baez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Baez started the first two games of the series, going 1-for-7 with a home run. He'll receive a day of rest in the finale, with Zach McKinstry handling shortstop and Colt Keith playing third base.

The Twins selected Misiewicz's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.

The Twins are swapping left-handed relievers, adding Misiewicz to the roster and designating Joey Wentz for assignment. Misiewicz held a 4.02 ERA and 29:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings this season with St. Paul. The 30-year-old has a career 4.67 ERA and 114:38 K:BB over 115.2 frames covering parts of five seasons at the big-league level.

The Twins designated Wentz for assignment Wednesday.

Minnesota claimed Wentz off waivers just under a month ago, and the southpaw was pummeled for 14 runs with a 6:9 K:BB over eight innings for the Twins. Fellow lefty Anthony Misiewicz was called up from Triple-A St. Paul to replace Wentz on the 40-man roster and in the big-league bullpen.

Tauchman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

With a lefty (Eric Lauer) on the hill for the opposition and with the White Sox concluding their series against the Blue Jays with a day game after a night game, the left-handed-hitting Tauchman will get the afternoon off. Austin Slater will replace Tauchman in right field and will bat second.

Teel is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

The left-handed-hitting Teel started behind the plate in both of the White Sox's previous two contests but will take a seat for Wednesday's matinee while the Blue Jays send lefty Eric Lauer to the bump. Edgar Quero will draw the start at catcher in the series finale.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI in a 10-3 win against Seattle on Tuesday.

Goldschmidt scored New York's first run of the game in the fifth inning and stroked a two-run single in the seventh. He notched his fourth multi-hit performance over his past five contests, a span during which he's batting .391 with five doubles. The hot stretch comes on the heels of a rough 1-for-23 stretch to end the month of June. On the season, Goldschmidt is slashing .290/.349/.435 with eight homers, 34 RBI, 54 runs and five stolen bases over 347 plate appearances.

Judge went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI against the Mariners in a 10-3 victory Tuesday.

Judge hit one of three Yankees long balls in the win, swatting a 345-foot solo shot in the seventh inning. The All-Star outfielder has homered in his past two games and has gone deep six times while driving in 12 runs over his past nine contests. Judge is up to 34 home runs on the campaign, two shy of MLB leader Cal Raleigh (36).
