Mize (9-3) took the loss after throwing three innings, allowing six runs and one walk while striking out four, during Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

In his last start before the All-Star break, Mize had a rare rough outing, lasting a season-low three innings and giving up a season-high six runs. It snaps a streak of nine straight starts allowing three runs or fewer for the right-hander. The 28-year-old will still enter the All-Star break with great numbers, posting a 3.15 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 77 strikeouts in 88.2 innings.

Kirby (4-4) earned the win after throwing five innings, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six, during Saturday's 15-7 win over the Tigers.

Kirby made it nine straight starts throwing at least five innings with his performance Saturday. The Tigers got to him for four runs, tied for the most runs he's allowed in a start since the start of June, but the Mariners gave him plenty of run support to secure his fourth win. The 27-year-old enters the All-Star break with a 4.50 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 56 strikeouts in 54 innings.

Pena (ribs) hit in an indoor cage and did "light on-field work" prior to Saturday's game against the Rangers, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pena recently resumed baseball activities after landing on the IL due to a fractured left rib June 30. Though he hasn't yet tested out the injury by throwing across the diamond, the shortstop's ability to swing a bat and field ground balls are encouraging signs of progress. Pena will attend but will not play in the All-Star Game, and he could be activated off the IL shortly following the break.

Loperfido (illness) isn't in the starting lineup versus the Athletics on Saturday.

Loperfido was scratched from Friday's contest due to an illness and is beginning on the bench again Saturday. However, it's worth noting that Toronto is facing a lefty starter in the Athletics' Jacob Lopez, so Loperfido may not have started regardless of the illness. It remains to be seen if Loperfido will be back in the lineup for the Blue Jays' final game before the All-Star break Sunday afternoon, as the A's are slated to start another lefty (Jeffrey Springs) in that contest.

Bowlan (1-2) allowed two runs on four hits and struck out four without walking a batter over three innings to take the loss versus the Mets on Saturday.

Michael Lorenzen (illness) was scratched from Saturday's start, leading to an impromptu bullpen game for the Royals. Bowlan followed opener Angel Zerpa, and it was a Juan Soto two-run home run that did Bowlan in during this low-scoring, 3-1 loss. Bowlan has allowed three runs over four innings during his current stint in the majors. He's at a 3.79 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 14:8 K:BB over 19 innings across 14 relief appearances this season.

Barger isn't in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Athletics.

Barger will begin the contest on the bench with the A's sending a lefty starter (Jacob Lopez) to the mound. Barger started each of Toronto's previous four games, going 3-for-17 with a home run and three RBI during that stretch. The 25-year-old has been playing a mix of right field and third base; George Springer and Ernie Clement are starting at those positions, respectively, Saturday.

Keith went 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs scored in Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

Despite the lopsided loss, Keith continued his strong performance as Detroit's leadoff man. He's batted first in each of his starts dating back to June 19, and during that time, Keith is batting .319 with four home runs, 10 RBI and 14 runs scored across 19 games. The young infielder's fantasy stock is on the rise given his prime position atop a potent Detroit lineup that is sixth in the majors in runs scored.

Torres went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

Torres had been scuffling a bit, as he came into Saturday having gone just 2-for-18 in the past week, but he snapped out of the slump with his first three-hit effort since June 19. Overall, the All-Star infielder is now batting .277 with an .808 OPS and 50 runs scored across 83 games, and he's been an effective No. 2 hitter for the Tigers ahead of sluggers Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson.

McKinstry went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

A day after swiping two bases, McKinstry made his mark with his eighth home run of the season. It's one away from matching his career high, as the utility player hasn't generally been known for his power. McKinstry is also now sitting with an .842 OPS, which would easily be a new high-water mark and is well above his career .684 figure. McKinstry has been a sneaky fantasy performer in 2025 who can fill in at multiple positions across the field.

Greene went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 15-7 loss to the Mariners.

While Seattle had most of the offensive fun Saturday, Greene still managed to deliver for fantasy managers. The 24-year-old launched his 23rd home run of the season in the fifth inning with two runners on and tacked on an additional RBI on a sacrifice fly. Greene is now one homer away from matching his career high of 24, which he recorded last year. His 77 RBI this season are already a new career best, and they're also tied for third in the majors with Pete Alonso and Seiya Suzuki.
